The environment, the hosts and even guests have far exceeded our expectations. The yurts are located right on the shore of the lake more than 10km from the nearest road and village. Thus the place is a complete calm. The sand shore spreads for at least 8-10km and you will unlikely meet a single person during your walk. The lake looks more like a sea - you can see a horizon line, the same waves, clean water looks like a lagoon sometimes. When the sun shines you can see the snow caps of the mountains beyond the far northern shores of the lake. This is a real getaway location, which you rarely reach not only in well-developed Europe, but also in many areas of Tibet... The hosts are super friendly and we've made friends with them immediately (they speak Russian and Kyrgyz languages and there is a young man who speaks English well). Another young man takes care of the bar - he has won local barista championship and brews coffees I've never heard about. As for the guests - during our 2 days stay we've made friends with a couple from Belgium, two couples from Netherlands and there was also a group of Greeks and Bulgarians. Everybody was very open and friendly.

Family Guest House in Cholpon-Ata provides accommodation with a garden and barbecue facilities. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The friendliness of the owners made this stay a fantastic stop during our trip around Issyk-Kul. The rooms are perfectly clean, good breakfast, calm neighborhood. Best thing though is the atmosphere in the guesthouse, that is a cozy and enjoyable place to relax and get together for families and couples.

Facing the seafront in Cholpon-Ata, Zaton Guesthouse has a garden. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Nice clean rooms with comfy beds. A lot of renovation has clearly taken plans and continues to, as they expand. But nothing disturbed us. The lake and beach are just a short 5 minute walk from the Guesthouse. The breakfast was a nice experience, too. We really felt like guests rather than customers. By the way, the pics don't make it clear, but we had the room with one king bed and two twins, and the twins are actually located in a separate bedroom, so the place feels more like an apartment than a hotel room. Highly recommend!

Actually is a home stay and the entire family live in the complex, so the atmosphere is very lovely. It has very clean rooms and courtyard. Specially the second floor has good view to Issyk-Kul lake. It is easy to find the address. not far from lake's shore. Staff are helpful, The owners' English skill is not high but enough to answer our questions..

Yurt camp Tosor in Tosor provides accommodation with an open-air bath and a garden. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. We had a fantastic time at Yurt Camp Tosor. The setting is beautiful and very close to the lake with clear water and beach. The hosts are lovely, working very hard to make sure that their guests have the best time possible. They gave us a ride twice to and from the main road which was well appreciated. Dinners were great with excellent food in the company. of other travelers. The yurt was very comfortable, bedding was super warm. Shared showers and toilets are new and 100% functional. We had two wonderful restful days at Yurt Camp Tonya. We highly recommend it to any travelers.

The Guest house located in a beautiful place, at the corner of a village. Beautiful Garden and also the property also kept very nice and clean. The Lady, the owner is very kind and friendly. She arranged me dinner for my both nights was very delicious. Also they have beer at dinning area plus some other drinks such as Soft drinks. The place is really valuable for the price I paid. Highly recommended

Yurt camp Sonun is a recently renovated campground in Bokonbayevo, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. Amazing experience！Extremely great host! Very easy to communicate, Zhanara speaks English quite well. Super comfortable and cozy yurts, had warm and restful nights. Showers and toilets are well done and clean. Pretty territory ( you gonna be welcomed by stone cat 😹). The food... we could stop eating, it was so great. Everything in yurt camp ( especially the food) is made with loads of love, hosts really want to share with you the best. The beach was very close and easy to find even at night)) p.s. when you are on the way to the Sonun yurt camp better follow the road I draw on the pic #1, it doesn't shows on tge map but that's the fastest and the most comfortable way as to get to yurts. The maps would suggest you was as on pic #2 , try to avoid it (!!!), especially if you are not 100% sure in your car or it's late at night.

Guest House Parus is located on the territory of Pansionat Zolotye Peski, that offers water park, attractions park, as well as bars and restaurants. It is set 50 metres from the bank of Lake Issyk... It is quite a cozy and tidy place on the territory of a complex. This guest house is surrounded by other houses and cafes and restaurants. So, you won't be hungry ) The beach is around the corner. The path to the amusement park and shops takes around 20 minutes of slow walking.
