With garden views, Greenwood safari camp is set in Talek and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. The entire team at greenwood are incredibly hospitable. they went above and beyond to help make our time at the park as memorable as relaxing as possible. The team is small and makes it feel like a home away from home with home cooked meals for breakfast lunch and dinner. Magdy went out of his way to even help organise our tours and transport before we’d arrived. Will come back over and over!

What a dream stay at Talek Bush Camp, we simply couldn’t wish for anything better!!! This price quality/ratio is one of the best we’ve ever got. The food is made with love and it tastes simply amazing, they offer all meals, drinking water, and even packed lunch and breakfast for the game drives. The options for game drives are AMAZING, great rates and you get to sit alone in the car (this is rare!). The drivers are super experienced and bring you to the hidden spots before everyone else arrives. The staff is also super friendly and attentive, and they all make you feel at home. The swimming pool is also beautiful and relaxing after a long day.

Located in Ololaimutiek in the Narok region, Masai Heritage Guesthouse offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This guest house features a garden as well as a bar. Cannot find any fault. Spirited team of Masai people run this establishment. Total fun time.

Maasai homestay camping is situated in Sekenani. Guests staying at this apartment have access to a fully equipped kitchenette. The owner was waiting for us, as It is pretty far from Nairobi, but you can also fly to Masai Mara. But this is meant to experience the local life to the fullest, so it comes with everything included. Experience the 'Masai life', the owner will accommodate you with other needs, but communicate them in advance; if you want breakfast and what, he can organize your day, and he is very resourceful. Also knows some local hang-out places which are way cheaper than the traditional tourist resorts. A thing to do is to go eat with him a local national food, a grilled goat, nyama choma, eat from same plate together with by using the hands and connect with your rental manager on a different level.

Located in Aitong, Enkusero Mara offers accommodation with seating area. This luxury tent provides free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Enkusero is a small boutique camp, owned and run by William who is a local Masai, a passionate host and an excellent guide with15 years of experience. He took us for tailor- made safaris and went out of his way to show us the Big Five and countless other wonderful creatures. The location was fantastic and ideally located to visit the Masai Mara reserve. Our tent was luxurious and beautifully furnished . They had wooden decks with large verandas, for us to enjoy the sight of zebras, wildebeest and gazelles that grazed and freely roamed around the camp. The camp was exclusive and intimate in character with 3-4 luxury tents, perfect for one large or two small families. The food was par excellence . Robert is a fabulous chef who delighted in serving us exquisite dishes, most beautifully presented. We were quite apprehensive of food as we are vegetarians but it seemed no trouble for the skilled chef. The team, service and hospitality was superb. We took packed breakfast on most morning game drives. They were delicious and plentiful. I would like to make a special mention of the bush dinner with camp fire and lanterns which was really spectacular. William also organised sundowner drinks and it was simply humbling watching the sunset in the vast, peaceful setting of the Mara. We thoroughly enjoyed a visit to the traditional village of the Masai community, which William was happy to organise. To add to all this, the money spent at the camp directly benefits the local Masai community as it provides direct employment and there are no middlemen involved. We stayed 5 nights and each day was above all our expectations. Fantastic place where to stay if you want to be in the middle of wilderness and at the same time feel safe, special and be treated like royalty. We felt at home and so warmly welcomed by the amazing staff. The food was delicious and our overall experience was just perfect. We left this place with full hearts and incredible memories. Nestled on the banks of the Ntiakitiak River, Olare Mara Kempinski is located in Masai Mara and boasts panoramic views of the savannah and game species. The game drives were exceptional, with the comfort of the car significantly enhancing the experience. Additionally, the driver exhibited superb knowledge, explaining everything thoroughly.
