JamboHouse Lamu is set in Lamu, 400 metres from Gallery Baraka, 500 metres from Lamu Museum, and 500 metres from 18th Century Swahili House Museum. The highlight of our stat in Jambo House is Arnold, its owner. He is doing a great job, responds quickly, provides airport pickup, shares a map with all the useful tips and nice places to eat and is at your service if you need to book any kind of trip around Lamu. Furthermore, the breakfast here are lovely and for a bargain price, so definitely don't miss out on them ! In the room, we had all we needed, and it was very quiet, so we slept very well! We will be back!

Situated within 500 metres of Manda Beach and 500 metres of Shela Beach in Lamu, Jua House provides accommodation with seating area. Had an amazing stay - place is beautiful but it was Amani and the staff (including the amazing cooked brekfast) who helped us get around and made the trip worth it!!

This historical Arabian-style building is located in the UNESCO-listed town of Lamu. It is less than 300 metres from the seafront and 3 km from the white sandy beach. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and thoughtful in every way. The recommendations are incredible and just the overall care for each and every guest is remarkable. So thankful to have stayed here!

Umma House has a terrace and is situated in Lamu, within just 300 metres of Lamu Museum and 500 metres of Lamu Fort. Guests staying at this villa have access to a balcony. The house is a beautiful gem within old lamu town. The architecture is stunning, the rooms are freshened by fans and the pool is great to escape the day’s heat. The house staff is incredibly helpful and Peter was a great caretaker. We would also warmly recommend arranging a tour of the old town and of shela, as well as a boat tour if one wishes, with Abu. Abu is knowledgeable and loves his job; he is a great storyteller and a great artist (ask to see his recycled art). Walking around Lamu with him and learning about this unique place from him was a wonderful experience.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, sea view and a terrace, Makubwa House is situated in Lamu. Alexandra and Zion were just amazing. You can see the passion of Alexandra about Lamu and about this historical building! It is perfect for a big group, and it's also amazing to work from there. I liked everything of the place, so relaxing and such a relaxed atmosphere!

Set 300 metres from Lamu Fort, Beytsalam offers accommodation with a shared lounge, a terrace and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Complimentary WiFi is offered. The hotel is fully equipped with everything you need from fresh towels, body lotion and shampoo. Also if you go swimming often, they even have a hair drier. I loved the comfortable beds with good mosquito nets. More so, the hotel is very beautiful with Swahili architectural designs and furniture. During our stay, the staff were very kind and the Swahili breakfast was delicious. Jivanjee was so helpful in linking us to affordable services such as dhow rides and helped us in anything we needed.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Banana House and Wellness Centre is located in Shela village, Lamu 2.7 km from Gallery Baraka. The property is set 2.8 km from Lamu Fort. Truly beautiful place. The personnel was very attentive and the food delicious. They recomend and organise your activities in the area for you to have a full experience. Can only recommend.

Set within 100 metres of Lamu Museum and 200 metres of Lamu Fort in Lamu, Swahili Dreams Apartments offers accommodation with a kitchen. The design in this property is amazing, beautiful. The indoor pool is exquisite. The staff was excellent and the apartments large and comfortable.
