Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. I went with my family (2 adults + 2 toddlers aged 3 and 2) and we were awed by the great view (windows) overseeing the lake. Room size was awesome to fit 2 huge luggage and there is free parking opposite. There are yukata for kids and a smaller potty adapter. The staff who served us dinner was awesome and my kids love her. Just note that the bath water in the bathroom is not from hot spring but hot spring water is available at public bath. Room amenities are great (Air purifier, soap, lotions etc. provided) and not too old (Considered well maintained). Hotel facilities are nice. Location is good because there is a convenient store nearby and walkable to ropeway attraction. Would very much want to go back again.

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were able to get a shuttle to/from the station that suited our timetable and also a ride to the doorway. The food was beautiful and delicious, we always looked forward to our meals. Great view of Mt Fuji and the location was very close to some great photo spots so you could roll out of bed to capture the sunrise over the mountain. Would highly recommend this place!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Staff, location and vibe were amazing. Highly recommend. A really layed back set up, but with all the comforts you need. Suggest stopping to get a fresh lobster and request the BBQ from the staff, was so good.

7.8 km from Lake Kawaguchi, グランファーム富士河口湖 is a recently renovated property situated in Fujikawaguchiko and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The best stay I have so far in my trip, location is a narrow road to drive to but worth the drive. Both sunset and sun rise are great.

Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.8 km from Lake Kawaguchi and 3.8 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 貸別荘 ウサギの郷 offers a garden and air conditioning. Only 20mins on foot from Kawaguchiko station, there is a supermarket, conveniences stores and restaurants along the way. It's also only a short walk to the lake itself. The houses (the property consists of several houses) are all new and one can see that when entering! The reception was a little hidden next to a garage. Once you arrive you get a small introduction to the house and the key, there is complimentary drinks in the fridge and we had the water turned on (not common in Japan!) when we arrived. The house was spacious, two out of three bedrooms had been made up for us. There are six beds in total plus a pull out couch, so lots of space! The two toilets (one on each floor) were very convenient. We stayed in house A which sadly does not have the best Fuji view (only one bedroom and the kitchen window), but it was still great to wake up, pull the curtain open and see the top! Outside is a patio where you can spend time in the evenings if you don't want to sit on the couch or at the kitchen table. The house was facing towards the lake which was nice to see at night.

Located just 17 km from Fuji-Q Highland, SORAYADO 宙宿 features accommodation in Tsuru with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything was new. The rooms were very clean and the owner goes out of the way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A very relaxing place. They provide microwave & toaster which most of the hotels do not provide. Loved the automated toilet bowl!

VISION GLAMPING Resort & Spa 山中湖 ビジョングランピングリゾート山中湖 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Yamanakako, 13 km from Fuji-Q Highland. Everything are well prepared and well thought out. Location is excellent with a very nice view of Mt. Fuji The unit is very spacious, clean and tidy.

Offering lake views, つながるキャンプリゾートQOONEL+ is an accommodation located in Azagawa, 5.4 km from Lake Kawaguchi and 7.7 km from Fuji-Q Highland. The view is absolutely breathtaking - we didn’t want to leave! I’d recommend this place to everyone! We loved that there were comfortable seats to eat and enjoy the view in. They provide you with tons of things to make cooking easy and enjoyable. The BBQ dinner was delicious. We were worried that it might’ve been too cold to cook food and sleep but the heaters and bonfires kept us very warm! The staff was also super friendly and kindly walked us through everything. Oh yes, and it was the perfect engagement spot! :)

Located in Oshino and only 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 八海 木花館 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location and the view of Mt Fuji at the property was just spectacular. The food and service was impeccable. Nina Lin was sharing with us all the great spots to take photos of Mt Fuji and we really enjoyed our conversations with her. The other older lady was very helpful and hospitable as well and we can't praise them enough for making our stay so memorable!
