Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. Everything. From the big, traditional room with view to the river to the friendly staff and relaxing onsen. I had read the reviews that it could get noisy as some guests aren't as quiet. But it was perfect for me. Relaxing, simply perfect.

Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, and 35 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. Everything! The staff were so polite and welcoming. The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

Situated in Atami and only 500 metres from Atami Sun Beach, Marina Bay Atami features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The view from the hotel is very nice, located near the sea and easy to access. It was spacious and clean, with all necessary facilities which made the stay very comfortable. The host was also very welcoming, and the information provided on booking were matching reality. In summary, it was a great experience, I would definitely recommend it.

Very nice staff, helpful and always there for useful information. And the owner lady offered car drop off to the nearby train station after we checked out.

It was a beautiful retreat that allowed you to unwind in a small coastal town. The traditional Japanese breakfast was wonderful and the onsen amenities were fantastic.

Situated within 12 km of Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival and 50 km of Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA, オーシャンビューゲストハウスEat&Stay ROMEY features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Shizuoka. Wow! Amazingly friendly hosts, beautiful location, yoga mats, a hammock, a bicycle to use, clean rooms, and all round wonderful experience. Oceanside views The hosts took me to a wonderful dinner (probably the best one I've had so far in Japan) and taught me how to write haikus. They explained lots of nuisances and generally gave off the best vibes a traveller could ask for. I'm very grateful for their hospitality and kindness, if I ever return to Japan I will 100% be staying here again.

Set 9.1 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. Beautiful, authentic, very relaxing stay. Would recommend for couples as it has the opportunity for private onsen baths which were so nice (there are also public onsens). The rooms were really spacious and tea services were provided in the rooms. The dining experience was really unique with all of the separate dishes and super high quality. The town is small so whilst I'm sure there are other places to eat, there is no need to do that. Also super fun to go to the panorama park and get brilliant photos of Mount Fuji.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. We felt so welcomed and cared for by Ken. Fresh local flowers in the room, a friendly face and comfortable room in a delightful seaside village. We were kindly dropped back to the train - a lovely experience and memory.

In the Shuzenji Onsen district of Izu, close to Shuzen-ji Temple, Hostel Knot has a shared lounge and a washing machine. There was a great small onsen right around the corner, the shower was great, we loved the capsule beds. I could have used a little thicker mats, but really nice. The staff was amazing.

Set just 42 km from Koibito Misaki Cape, Guesthouse SORA offers accommodation in Minamiizu with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything was so neat and tidy. The owner was so kind and everyone staying was so friendly.
