The design and layout of the room was creative and comfortable. Such attention to details - hooks conveniently located, lights at all the right places and all of them are dimmable from a remote control. Very clever use of space to fit in all the amenities. I enjoyed spending time in my room! The common spaces are wonderful too - a brand new pool table at the dining area. Miyu and her husband are very hardworking and talented. I feel so lucky to have been their guest. Highly recommend Koke Musu:Inn to all travellers with a sense of adventure. The inn is a short 15-min walk from the station and is just across Lake Biwa. There are many eateries nearby, as well as convenience stores and supermarkets. Perfect place to spend a few days.

Το Guesthouse En είναι μια εξοχική κατοικία στο Μάκι της Σίγας. Ο πλησιέστερος σταθμός είναι ο σταθμός JR Omi-Hachiman, σε απόσταση 12 λεπτών οδικώς. We loved everything 💜 ❤️ Quaint, old house, beautifuly furnished. 6 byclyes available to use during your stay. Beautiful countryside, lovely village 15 mins cycle away....we are not into cycling but really enjoyed it, that say a lot !!! Amazing bamboo forest 10 mins cycling towards village, empty re people....beats any bamboo groove in Kyoto, absolutely STUNNING!!!!! We bought food and cooked at the house. Lots of fresh beef !!!! I can't rate this place highly enough............we stayed end of November, so also had wonderful colours of autumn leaves. We were met at the station, taken to the house and explained in perfect English, how to operate heating, door locks etc...... The owner then took us back to the station....and what surprised us was, he waited till we got into the station and waved us goodbye. 👋 Perfection 🥰 💞 🥰 to the end of a most memorable stay we will never forget. Ps, 2 nights is not enough....stay longer if you can

Στεγάζεται σε μια πρώην κατοικία τοπικού εμπόρου, Το Inase Otsu Machiya Bed and Breakfast βρίσκεται στην Οτσού, σε απόσταση 700μ. από το Ναό Mii-dera. A unique place with peaceful atmosphere. I enjoyed my time a lot. Everything was excellent.

Το Hiei Blue Roof - Vacation STAY 13887 είναι σε Ότσου, σε απόσταση 8 χλμ από Ναός Enryaku-ji, 8,7 χλμ από Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple και 9,3 χλμ από Shugakuin Imperial Villa. We booked this property with a bit of hesitation as there were very few reviews on booking.com and we didn’t regret it a second! It is in a very peaceful residential area, quiet, restful night’s sleep is guaranteed which was very important to us. The house is warm and cosy as we had a bit of a cold weather it was important. We felt at home and had a great base to explore the city of Kyoto, Otsu and all the surrounding area. There’s everything you would need in a household and more. There’s also a nice garden which we couldn’t use due to the cold weather. The owner is a very sweet attentive lady and a great host who took care of every single need of us, so that we felt like staying in a friend’s house. With or without car this accommodation is a great choice to escape the crowds of Kyoto and yet be in 25 min distance to downtown Kyoto. We stayed there for 10 days and explored the whole area. I cannot recommend Sayo’s place enough! I would love to come again sometime.

The homely hospitality by the sincere owner & his mother truly touch our heart! the house is big enough for us & complete with all the ameneties needed. Aunty served us rice balls every morning using the rice they grown themselves & it's yummms! my kids love the oldschool game set prepared for us. Fujiwara san is truly a person who serves wholeheartedly with personal touch. He is thoughtful & love our kids by preparing all the goodies & snacks at times. we love the hanabi(fireworks) prepared & had a good time! i've been visiting Japan more than 15times in 10yrs, but this is the place that i miss most with their homely hospitality & it's so healing. i got teary eyed when i visited the small shrine (the shrine in the Pokemon game) behind the owner's house once i checked out because i felt so blessed to meet with this family. A must stay if u wanna TRUE Japanese touch stay. We love the burger shop & local Japanese eatery recommended by Fujiwara san. it's very easy to drive around Lake Biwa, we love the ski resort recommended by Fujuwara san so much! it's fun & pretty with colorful flowers & cooling up there in Summer! U can even have a day trip from here to places in Northern Kyoto prefecture such as Ine, Amanohashidate, Miyama etc. You wil never regret staying here! I'll definitely stay here again if i'm visiting Kyoto in future! i cant say enough of the good thing about this stay, u must stay to believe me... Arigato Fujiwara san.

My wife and I are not young folks anymore. The trip to the bathroom during the night was somewhat difficult for us. The bedroom was on the upper floor in the lovely traditional Japanese house. The narrow stairway was challenging for us. There is ample room downstairs and perhaps owners would accommodate a request to put the bedding there.
