The room itself was very clean and peaceful. The balcony was the finest area to see the sunset and drink morning coffee (I had a room on the third floor). Just across the hotel is a family mart.

When I left to Naha and stayed at another hostel, I felt surprised by how much more comfortable and welcome I felt staying at Kishaba. Amenities are suitable, location is great, facilities are wonderful. The bed is comfortable, spacious, and private. Above all though, staying here made my trip to Ishigaki that much more memorable.

Everyone tried to speak a little English with me so I wasn't left out of the conversation! Kitchen is very well stocked, and common areas are really nice and comfortable. It would be really relaxing for a longer stay.
