250 metres from Beppu Tower, BEPPU HOSTEL U&T is set in Beppu and features a garden and a terrace. The property is close to Beppu Park, B-Con Plaza and Beppu Art Museum. Clean and big enough space for family with children. Children could sleep in separated room from living room so that they could go to bed as usual. Free drinks, tv games and Netflix at common area, our children liked it and they played with young friendly staffs. Within 10 minutes walking to Beppu train station and near a shopping mall.

In the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, close to Yukemori Observatory, OMOLOSO Hostel オモロソウ ホステル features a garden and a washing machine. Amazing. I loved the place with references to manga/anime everywhere in the house, great collection of pokemon cards 😅... Totsi is a super host, when I arrived he was preparing super yummy Dorayaki (Japanese pancakes with sweet bean paste) with the other travelers and invited me to join them 😋 After that we played card games till midnight. Close to the hostel there are several onsen opened until 2am with outdoor bath that are perfect for relaxing night bath. The facilities in the house were really good and everything was clean. The place was excellent value for money Thank you Totsi ! 🙏

GRAND VERDE RESORT features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 41 km of Oita Bank Dome and 11 km of Kinrinko Lake. The food and service were exceptional. It was really great to have some prepared food and some to cook ourselves. All fresh and delicious. Good location with beautiful views. Very relaxing and loved some of the smaller activities available. Room was the perfect size and great setup for the views and with bathroom and eating area.

1.7 km from Kinrinko Lake in Yufu, 湯布院我楽珍民泊Yufuin Garakuchin provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and public bath. The host was super friendly and attentive. He picked us up after dinner and took us into town the next morning based on the time most convenient for us. Room was big and clean. Separate tatami area was spacious. Onsen on premise was great! A very comfortable stay!

Ideally situated in the Yufuin Onsen district of Yufu, Yufuin Tsuru no Yu is situated 1 km from Kinrinko Lake, 23 km from Beppu Station and 35 km from Oita Station. Nice quiet corner beside a river with running water sounds, beside a rice Paddy field facing mountain views. Breakfast is great, Japanese style with many small dishes serving. Imagine after a morning spring bath your breakfast is ready to serve you that feeling is so great.

Located in Yufu, 42 km from Oita Bank Dome and 400 metres from Kinrinko Lake, 天ゆふ(Ten Yufu) offers a garden and air conditioning. The location is just right at the Kinrin Lake. With 1 bath house at the front and across the street is a public onsen right beside the lake. It is the whole house to your group and can easily fit 5 people with a spare space to move around. (But there's only one parking slot). As it's a house, it comes with kitchen and accessory. Very family friendly. Can cook nabe or BBQ. The carpark is a bit hard to find but seriously, it's like the most unique parking place ever. Not everyday that you can park beside a hole on the ground with hot spring water running and many fishes.

Located in Beppu in the Oita region, with Beppu Station and Beppu Art Museum nearby, Hakka provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Excellent location, right in the city centre Kitahama district, 10 minutes walk from the Beppu station, surrounded by restaurants. The sushi place right next door was excellent, with the best miso soup I have ever had! The property is spacious, very clean, excellent facilities for self-catering, good toiletries. We stayed for 3 nights and it was an oasis to come back to after a tiring day of being a tourist. My wife didn't find the futon beds comfortable (too thin) but I had no complaints. The heating worked well on cold mornings. The layout of the WC, separate from the wash basin/laundry area, and shower/bath was a bit weird but no problem at all.

Okuyado Buaiso has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Yufu, 41 km from Oita Bank Dome. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. This is very unique place to have a relaxing time with family and friends. I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.

Providing city views, Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA is located in the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, 26 km from Oita Bank Dome and 5.5 km from Beppu Station. The people are super nice and have a big heart! The location is also awesome. I will gladly return.
