Situated 1.5 km from Takayama Station, Iroriyado Hidaya is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Takayama, boasting a garden, a shared lounge and private parking. The location is about a 20 min walk to the central area and about a 30 min walk to the Hida Folk Village so the location isn’t too bad if you’re planning to see both. The staff is beyond excellent, extremely polite, friendly and welcoming. We had the Japanese breakfast which was really delicious. I loved how big our room was, it was all well worth the stay.

46 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village, WAY SHIRAKAWAGO - Private, Free Parking and Newly Opened 2022 WAY SHIRAKAWAGO is a recently renovated property set in Shirakawa and offers air-conditioned... The staff was nice and thoughtful to prepare some microwaveable food. Everything was great and the handbook was perfect for the tourist recommendation. Very kind and thoughtful owner. Highly recommended!

Guesthouse SHIGI is located in Nakatsugawa, 46 km from Gero Station, 24 km from Ōi, as well as 24 km from Enakyo Wonderland. Very kind and helpful host. Traditional house. Lovely and well kept. Highest recommendation.

The night at Motomiya Guest House as a whole was a magical experience. The owner is one of the nicest people we've met, our room was big and cosy and the food was simply delicious. Magome is a picturesque village that leaves a great impression and staying at Motomiya Guest House made everything even better. Our favourite night in Japan.
