However, what lacks in english makes up in friendly rural Japan vibes <3 Had to do laundry and get dinner and Ashi-san helped me through both of those matters. I had some beer and okonomiyaki in a local restaurant where evdrbody was having a great time watching a baseball match, had a great meal and chatted up with the super friendly locals. The traditional garden was amazing to put some shakuhachi vibes in the background and let yourself drift in time.

Built in 2018, Itomori is located a 7-minute walk form JR Takayama Station. The old town of Takayama is 6 minutes on foot, while Takayama Jinya is a 10-minute stroll.

Units are fitted with a kitchen with a dining area, and a private bathroom with a free toiletries and bath. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also offered as well as a coffee machine. Excellent location, close to everything but still quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well.
