Meidön huineessa oli oma hanaja lavuaari sekä hieno maisema vuonon yli vuorille. Keittiö oli toimiva ja kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi.

Situated in Flateyri, in a historic building, 21 km from Pollurinn Hot Spring, The Old Bookstore is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and shared lounge. This place was so lovely. Quirky and eclectic, clean and comfortable. The owners were warm and friendly and very helpful and the bookshop downstairs was just magical. Flateyri itself is such a beautiful little town.

It is very well equipped and there was even a supply of basics (oil, pasta, etc) that I assume had been left behind by other renters. There were a couple of restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Icelandic Lake House is situated in Akranes. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The Lake House was amazing, and far exceeded our expectations. The house was clean, VERY well stocked, had a Premium DeLongi super-automatic coffee machine, and the hot tub was perfect. We sat outside, both in the hot tub, and on the back deck, for hours watching the Northern Lights. This was the absolute best night of our trip.

Hvammur 4 with private hot tub (Fagurgali) is set in Drangsnes. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The holiday home has a picnic area and a hot tub. This was one of the most beautiful stays while travelling Iceland. It is set pretty much in the middle of nature and the house was quite big for two people and nicely furnished. The hot tub with naturally hot water was also just an incredible add-on. Would absolutely go there again and also for longer.
