This was a very exceptional experience, beautiful place, cosy, warm, comfortable bed, there was a kettle in the yurt and a sink. An extra feature is the natural “soundtrack” that one gets to listen through the tent: birds, sheep etc. Very relaxing. The staff at breakfast was very friendly and the breakfast was very nice as well.

Set in Fludir, in a building dating from 1993, Skyggnir Bed and Breakfast offers a garden and guestrooms with free WiFi. Featuring a shared lounge, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Silke is very kind, rare these days if a host is this nice. Our room was warm and tidy, even the common areas were very clean and friendly, it is sensible the owners put real effort into hospitality. The kitchen is well equipped and clean with all the appliances, the provided breakfast is enough to start your day. You can also have the opportunity to chose among pillow options, like in a hotel, they had a "pillow bar". I recommend this accommodation.

Nastanitev Árbakki Farmhouse Lodge se nahaja v mestu Reykholt, 18 km od znamenitosti Veliki gejzir ter 28 km od znamenitosti Slap Gullfoss, in ponuja brezplačen WiFi, vrt s teraso, pogled na gore ter... Lastnik, ki nas je bil pričakal je bilo zelo prijazen. Ker smo bili videti nekoliko utrujeno in malo premrzli nam je takoj ponudil vročo kopel, ki smo si jo z veseljem privoščili. Poleg tega pa je lokacija na samem in sam objekt zelo lično narejen.

This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. Gostoljubje lastnikov me je prav presenetilo. Počutili smo se kot doma. Največje presenečenje pa je bil okusen zajtrk v prečudovitem ambientu. Pa zvečer smo videli še severni sij.

Nastanitev Golden Circle Domes - Glamping Experience je v mestu Selfoss, 35 km od znamenitosti Narodni park Thingvellir, na območju, kjer lako uživate v pohodništvu. Perfect dome- high end bedroom space, fireplace thats easy and cozy to use, beautiful kitchenette/dining area, and clean modern bathroom/shower all within dome. Overall, exactly what I expected from glamping. The only thing is that if you keep the curtain open, you are about 15-20m from other Domes and hence will need to close curtains for full privacy. Super peaceful and luxe, would love to come again for longer romantic/relaxing stay. Also close to Selfoss small town 10 mins so very easy to get to.

The accommodation was very pleasant and cozy, the apartment is very beautiful with a large window facing the garden, parking lot and the sky, very gentle, snowy and romantic atmosphere. :) The beds are very comfortable, the cleanliness is at a very high level and big praise for the fine, very tasty Scandinavian spirit of decoration, the bathroom is nice, clean and spacious... the apartment also has a washing machine, which is very practical when traveling. The apartment is located in seclusion, quiet and dark, ideal for observing and hunting for the northern lights.

Nastanitev Iceland Inn Lodge, entire place with hot tub. Se nahaja približno 48 km od znamenitosti Slap Gullfoss in ponuja razgled na vrt, verando ter aparat za kavo. Wonderful huge villa in the countryside. Quiet! Hot tub with view of the sunset. Simply amazing. Easy to check-in and check-out. Perfect to explore the Golden Circle corner. Selfoss with supermarket etc is not too far.

Nastanitev Guesthouse Henia Bed&Spas je v mestu Selfoss, 43 km od znamenitosti Narodni park Thingvellir, in nudi vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter teraso. Such a lovely place to stay! Check-in and check-out was super easy. Communication with our really friendly host always quick and helpful. The apartment is cute and has all you need for two: Well-stocked kitchenette, super clean and modern bathroom, a giant TV (even though we never switched it on), and the place has its own private hot tub in the backyard! The location is perfect as it's just around the corner from Selfoss' central roundabout, so you'll find it easily and have a great base for exploring Iceland's beautiful southside. Also, you can drive to Reykjavík in just about one hour.

Nastanitev Sigga’s home se nahaja v mestu Hveragerði, 45 km od znamenitosti Muzej Perlan, 45 km od znamenitosti Cerkev Hallgrímskirkja in 46 km od znamenitosti Sončni popotnik – Solfar, ter ponuja... Sigga was such a nice, kind, helpful and overally great hostest and she makes terrific breakfast. Her home is beutiful and so cozy. We had a really nice stay and we prommised to come back to Iceland again. And when we do that, we will stay with Sigga again, because it's definitely worth it.
