Ormurinn Cottages is located in Egilsstadir. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. We loved this cottage, it was a little heavenly home (while a snow storm was happening outside) and we felt warm, cosy & safe. Well equipped, and of course beautiful surroundings. Restaurant is serving good food. Next, you gave the pub where you have craft beers from their brewrery. Is good. The cherry on top is the pool with sauna. Great place to relax after traveling. 100% recomand.

Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses in Egilsstadir provides adults-only accommodation with a private beach area and a garden. The property is amazing. The owners clearly care a lot about the place and their guests! The amount of small little details that we loved is too many to mention individually, but everything looked like it was done with intention, from the kitchenware to the bathroom supplies to even the coat hangers. The fireplace was an absolutely amazing little add-on, which one doesn’t often get, and which made it even cozier and homey-er. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything worked great, the beds were comfortable and warm. The place in itself is easy to find with the descriptions, and close enough to the next town to quickly get some essentials if needed, while also far enough away to feel cosy and calm. We had a brief chat with one of the owners when we arrived, who was super nice and told us a little bit about the house and the area in general. Thanks for an amazing stay!

The structure is very well made and sturdy with impressive design. The furniture and fittings are also high quality. We loved the coffee machine and bbq. Bedding linen are also good quality.

Has absolutely everything you may need. The kitchen is fully equipped (just no microwave for some reason that i definitely would added). The surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. There are convenience store, fuel station and bakery in a walking distance.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Hallormsstaður, Mjóanes accommodation is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake. owner was extra friendly, two cat will sneak in the room and make you pet them :)

Nice quiet place in wonderful surroundings, The host was very accommodating,. We had booked for 2 days, but the storm prevented us for arriving, so we stayed only one night. The rooms were large and comfortable.
