Excellent host, Sabeena ji thank you for your hospitality. I look forward to staying there again. It was raining outside and she even offered her rain coat, that was super sweet of her. Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Room had all the basic amenities and more..ex tea bags, electric kettle, toiletries. Wifi and AC worked great. It also had a shared drawing/lounge room and kitchen that we could use.

Situated in Palolem, 80 metres from Palolem beach, Hilias Retreat boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property has also been recently renovated. The location of the hotel is on the main street in Palolem, parallel to the beach; there are a lot of beach accesses from the street, so you´re practically at a 2-min walk from the sand, it is very comfortable. In my opinion the location is better than staying in those hotels on the beach, it´s more quiet. Room size is bigger than displayed in the photos; the toilet is small, the shower area is actually between the sink and WC, but we got used to it quickly. The owners are friendly and helpful, they are there whenever you need them, even arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. Good value for money!

I WILL for sure return to stay HERE 🎉 Austin is a kind generous and hospitable host. There was nothing I needed or asked which presented a problem. From my taxi meeting me at the airport to the purchase of bottled mineral water for me for my room (the cost of both reimbursed to Austin by me of course taxi was only 350 INR). Austin is a wonderful kind gentle human with whom it is a joy to interact. Austin is FULL of local knowledge and superb recommendations for Bogmallo Beach (which is less than 10mins stroll), fresh strong yummy ginger Chai and Omelette breakfast (at Savita's) and the most incredible palak dal and crunchy veg salad I've ever tasted (in the delicious restaurant Seagull John's). Both establishments are right on Bogmallo Beach.

He was always available, providing us with helpful tips and recommendations on what to see and do in Goa. His knowledge of the area was truly impressive. The beach home itself was stunning. It was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The highlight of the home was the balcony, offering breathtaking views of the beach and the sound of crashing waves. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of Goa.
