Situated in Gangtok in the Sikkim region, Bungkhim Homestay has a balcony. While the room and facilities were just what you can reasonably expect for this price, what really sets Bungkhim Homestay apart is the family who runs it. After many hectic and stressful months, from the moment I arrived I felt some inner peace settle, brought on by the warm welcome, sitting together companionably and our chats. That's not to forget the lovingly prepared and delicious breakfast. When they found out that I am vegan, they immediately made sure I got something appropriate. Even at family dinner both me and the other guest were included as if we had always been a part. When a mud slide cause the road back to Bagdogra to be blocked, their daughter and son in law actually brought me to the airport. 7 hours of driving in one direction, just so I wouldn't miss my flight! I am glad I chose Bungkhim and I hope I can visit them again and introduce them to my wife!

Situated in Sombāri in the Sikkim region, Lali Gurash Homestay - Okhrey features a garden. It is located 6.7 km from Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary and features free shuttle service. Lali Gurush Homestay was one of the best Holidays I ever had. The host family made us feel that we are at home only and prepared all the cuisines we requested for. Rooms were good and with a view and with all amenities. Mr Zigmee a gem of a person showed us around Oakhrey. His father mother brother ...each and everyone just so genuine and courteous...always helpful. In Okhrey Lali Gurush Homestay is the place to be, frankly...Kudos to the home family.

I have been a hotelier in the Luxury segment for over 2 decades what differentiates good hotels from great are the people who work there. Wangchuk and his family are fabulous.

Set in Gangtok, Monratino Ridge View is a recently renovated accommodation, 1.9 km from Enchey Monastery and 2.3 km from Palzor Stadium. It was a great experience! The hosts were very kind and helpful. They made an effort to get to know me and provided me with all the amenities needed for a good experience. The breakfast, chai and food requested were always delicious! The property is 5 minute's walk from the heart of gangtok, but in such a quite area that you forget that you're in a center. A gem to find! Highly recommend it to everyone.

Situated in Namchi, within 45 km of Happy Valley Tea Estate and 46 km of Mahakal Mandir, Hidden Cottage features accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Very clean and pleasant room of just the right size, with very comfy bed! All's pretty quiet and peaceful, and I appreciated the prompt and friendly service by the host. The availability of breakfast and dinner is convenient and reasonably priced. Dinner is tasty though I wouldn't mind a bigger portion. I'm a cyclist though, so might not be representative for others. All in all, I certainly had a nice stay!

Offering a garden and mountain view, The Sherpa's Abode is set in Gangtok, 700 metres from Ganesh Tok View Point and 1.5 km from Enchey Monastery. The Property is decorated & maintained to a high standard, all the amenities worked consistently with no problems, felt more like a quality Hotel with the added touch of a Homestay. The owners/hosts are very kind, genuinely hospitable, hard working & incredibly helpful, the food was always freshly prepared & very tasty, (I highly recommend eating dinner here, you won't be disappointed). The location is good, away from the hustle & bustle of the town with amazing views of the valley. You will get a room key & can come & go as you like so (just like a Hotel) so don't be put off by it being a Homestay, our overall experience was excellent from the point of booking to our departure the communication & information was first class, arranging Taxis & helping plan our trip. A special mention to Nima & his wife who helped care for my daughter when unwell & whose company I was very happy & grateful to share, wonderful. Thank you for a great stay 🙏
