Beautiful location, lovely walks. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The local link bus is great for getting into Cavan town, we got it outside the hotel reception although a taxi is not expensive ( €12 for 4 of us ) if you dont want to wait on the bus. The host Sean couldn't be more helpful and was available if we had any issues, he even text after we had checked out to ask how we had enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless and very spacious and had everything you could have want to make your stay perfect. I will certainly be back again soon . Thanks a million for making our stay so enjoyable

Just by the border with Northern Ireland, Lake Avenue House B&B is located in the North West of County Cavan. The house is located in really picturesque village, surrounded by mountains, with lots of lakes. The way itself was extremely beautiful. Its about 30 min drive to Stairways to Heaven hike and same amount to Drumshanbo Gin Distillery (we did both). Host is extremely nice. The Irish breakfast was the best I have ever eaten.
