He gave us directions to town and we actually saw them and they were so friendly. He even came up to our room to set up the rugby match on the TV so we could watch it. Big bed. Nice shower. Full kitchen.

Paula was fabulous, made us a pot of tea on arrival and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The location is great for exploring the area, the breakfast very good and the Heritage Centre a great experience.

Offering a garden and garden view, Ardmore House is set in Clifden, 11 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial and 23 km from Kylemore Abbey. The bed was so comfortable, was an actual American-sized king, and had a top sheet! Food was great, host was lovely. Cliff walk was a wonderful unique feature.

Bed & Breakfast - Shanakeever Farm is situated in Clifden, 17 km from Kylemore Abbey and 36 km from Maam Cross. It was welcoming and comfortable. Donna and Michael went out of their way to ensure that we had a wonderful stay and gave excellent tips and advice about local attractions.

The Potters Cottage, a property with a garden, is situated in Clifden, 3.5 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial, 20 km from Kylemore Abbey, as well as 36 km from Maam Cross. What a lovely place to stay. It was only for one night and we wished we could have stayed longer. It was warm and spacious. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped. The fresh flowers was a lovely touch. It’s about 10 minutes drive from the gorgeous town of Clifden. This is such a beautiful part of Ireland.

Views are amazing, the place is a great retreat in the middle of the Connemara Park. The room is huge and the beds are super comfy! Miriam was very sweet and attentive, providing us with refreshments upon arrival. Breakfast was great, we got our first Irish breakfast - delicious. We wish we had more time to explore the surroundings, but all in all it was a perfect short stay.
