Using the canoes was loads of fun. Got lucky and had a great group of solo travelers with me in the dorm. The food is good and fairly priced (not dirt cheap, but worth the price).

Freshly cooked pancake breakfast was included, the kitchen is well equipped and very clean. The owners are so kind and helpful, make you feel very welcome. The facilities are all well maintained and there is even a pool to take a dip in! Far enough from the main road that it is peaceful but only a 2-3 minute walk.

Cabaña Rio Lagarto er staðsett í Lívingston, nálægt North Livingston-ströndinni og 1,5 km frá Capitania-ströndinni en það státar af verönd með garðútsýni, garði og grillaðstöðu. It was clean and quiet. The hist was helpful with everything that i needed and its a pretty location. Even though it’s near the beach and kind of tin the jungle, there were not many bugs.

Casa Manatí býður upp á gistirými í Lívingston. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir ána og innri húsgarðinn og er steinsnar frá Ribera Rio Dulce-ströndinni. Julio’s cabana was newly built and very spacious. He just finished the new porch overhang the day before my arrival! I really liked the rustic feel of the home, and how private it was. I was the only one on the property during my stay. I stayed in the private room, but took a look upstairs at the loft. There are multiple beds in an open floor layout, with mosquito netting to ensure a comfortable sleep. There are kayaks available for a small extra fee, making getting around on the river very easy - especially if you have friends nearby, would like to visit the thermal waters, or grab dinner at Restaurante Viajero. Julio also has a well stocked kitchen if you will be doing your own cooking, as well as an EcoFilter water purifier. Loved my stay! Thank you Julio and your family for making me feel welcome.
