I stayed 5 nights and every day was full of new experiences, fresh food, friendly faces and access to kitchen and fridge. They guys showed me the best spots to surf and also provided with tips. Among the best places to stay in Mompiche if you are looking for surf vibes.

La Caleta se encuentra en Mompiche, a 50 metros de la playa de Mompiche, y ofrece alojamiento frente a la playa y varias instalaciones, como un jardín. Además, tiene vistas al jardín. Amazing place and amazing owners!! You can hear the waves while you sleep. Located right in the middle of Mompiche. The owner was extremely accommodating, helpful and made you feel very welcome. He helped me with everything from surfboard rental to bus schedules to and from Mompiche. Only place I’ve been to in Ecuador with a mosquito net around the bed which I appreciate. Can’t beat the price and I’ll definitely be staying here again when I come back to surf the point 🤙
