Victor was super helpful in driving us to Cerro Azul for our trip to Tangan. All in all, great place to start the Quilatoa trek over Latacunga.

Hostal Doña Clarita & Vegetarían Food se encuentra en Chugchilán y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. A nice and friendly family running this hostal with a lot of love. Our room was amazing, the bath and shower top! The WiFi was good enough and the food was excellent. Free banana bread, tea, coffee and water made it just perfect. Go here and not in the overhyped cloud forest.

We are still blown away by this hostal. It was so nice to arrive and see this amazing view, and chill in the hammock while having tea and reading. Nice and big chilling area downstairs. The rooms are big, the breakfast was outstanding. When they serve the dinner, everyone comes to the table and talks about the hike and their journey. Everything was perfect. Just book it!

Hostal backpackers tiene salón de uso común, terraza, restaurante y bar en Chugchilán. Walter and Narcisa were so kind to us! It felt more like a home stay than a hostal. They even arranged a special breakfast for my husbands birthday! I would absolutely recommend this hostal to anyone! The shower was hot, the beds were comfortable, and the food was delicious. There is also a lovely patio space upstairs.

Oh, my regrets of not booking this place longer. This was a wonderful location for my family. Safe, Secure, Clean, and Fun. Close to Cotapoxi for hiking and other outdoor adventures. Lovely place that the pictures of the dwelling do not do suffucicent justice. Plenty of space and washrooms. Even secure outdoor location for entertainment. Blankets are nice and warm. Really, book this place for a longer stay then we did.
