Host was very nice and gave us a lot of valuable recommendations. The property is really big, has a few bathrooms, a lot of beds and balcony with the nice view.

The property is very remote, you can’t find it without a car. The lady working there is amazing. You forgive small issues connected to your stay just because of how nice this lady is. She is in love with her country, the nature and the animal around. My 10 points is to her really. As for accommodation it was good, the breakfast (cooked by the same lady) is great. You stay in the jungle and no one around. You wake up to howling monkeys sitting next to your room around 5-6am. So be ready.

The night tour was beautiful, so we'll explained, and very interesting. The welcoming totally perfect even if we booked last minute. And the breakfast... Just incredible. Not only because of the food, it was very good and gluten free for me, which can be complicate sometimes, but mostly because of the mother. The is a beautiful soul, full of love and kindness. Thank you for everything!

The hosts were gracious and kind, and the grounds were beautiful! If we return and need a place to say in the San Jose area this will be at the top of the list!

A acomodação é muito especial! A casa é rústica, porém muito bonita e confortável e está rodeada pela natureza. Foi nossa acomodação favorita na Vista Rica! Há duas varandas na casa onde se pode avistar muitas aves e macacos. A Wendy e sua família foram muito acolhedoras.. Fomos convidados para uma festa linda no povoado local.. Large room with everything that can be needed.Even a small kitchen. Clean and cosy room. But the most important thing is the owners. Sooo nice people, after check-out our son got the present and I - a huge bunch of lilies🥰

Localizado em Vara Blanca, a apenas 15 km do Parque Nacional Poas, o Deluxe boutique lodge oferece acomodações com vista da montanha, Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privativo de cortesia. The Deluxe Boutique Lodge was perfect in so many ways. We booked this location to be close to Poas National Park and La Paz Waterfall Garden. It was 20 minutes to one and 10 to the other. Walter met us at the property even though due to weather and construction we were about an hour late. He also became our lifesaver that day. Again, due to weather, a family member was delayed arriving into San Jose. Walter volunteered to drive down to San Jose and pick her up. The property is located on the main road into the small village of Vara Blanca, walking distance to restaurants and shops. The Lodge is super clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable, the WIFI very good and the huge TV was a welcome diversion during the stormy weather. We do not hesitate to recommend this property
