My husband and I LOVE Palmetto Lodge the best from our stay in Costa Rica. The location was beautiful, and secluded, with an amazing view. The owners were so kind and inviting. They've worked so hard on their property and the work is 1000% reflected in their lodge. The breakfast was AMAZING! Everything homemade. Their hospitality was the best.

46 km from Barra Honda National Park, Eco-Turismo Guayacanes is a recently renovated property situated in Sámara and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. This is an amazing property with cute cabins and all the facilities. The pool was nicely kept. The fruit provided from the crop was extra special. All the staff was helpful. Great area but need a vehicle or taxi for access to Sámara. Such a peaceful place to stay. It was nice to hear that this was also funding support for the tree regrowth.

Located less than 1 km from Potrero Beach, LA QUEBRADA ECO LODGE Hotel Boutique offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden. It was our first vacation in Costa Rica. Staying in Potrero was especially beautiful. At the La Quebrada Eco Lodge we loved to spend time at the pool, walk the short Distance to breathtaking beaches. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings and friendliness of our hosts Carmen and Kristian enormously. Everything was exceptionally great.

Offering a garden and lake view, La Ceiba Tree Lodge is situated in Tilarán, 41 km from La Fortuna Waterfall and 17 km from Venado Caves. The location is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are really lovely and good sized. The photos don't do this place justice! Sergio and Mileidy are fabulous hosts and couldn't do enough to help (e.g. arranging taxis etc. for me as I didn't have a car). The food was exceptional - breakfast and dinner were delicious, creative and beautifully presented and they had decent wine and beer available if you want it.

Situated within less than 1 km of Potrero Beach and 2.3 km of Penca Beach, Villas Pura Vibra provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Potrero. Very nice villas, very clean, relaxing stay, breakfast available on order, there is also a bar by the pool, recommend to everyone, the owner are very friendly and welcoming, we enjoy every minute there. Baliyana Lodge is located in San José Pinilla and features a pool with a view and garden views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We had such a lovely stay at Baliyana lodge. This place is a gem and Nathalie and Yannick are wonderful and helpful hosts. The accommodations are serene and beautiful, nestled in a quiet location surrounded by the jungle and the sounds of playful monkeys. At night, you can see all the stars in the galaxy from the stunning infinity pool and the garden grounds. The drive to get there can be a bit off-putting at first but you will quickly get used to it (maybe don't plan your first arrival for night and reserve an SUV). The WI-FI is weak and there are no TVs in sight, so plan to sign off completely and be intentionally and mindfully in the moment. You won't regret it. This is honestly the best place to do that, with a lovely and delicious curated breakfast in the morning. The lodge may seem remote but there are beautiful beaches and a few delicious restaurants a short drive away - Playa Avellanas and Il Rustico were our favourite. Tamarindo is a very doable 20 minute drive away. Do not hesitate to book this as your Costa Rican Pacific beach accommodations.
