Finding accomodation for a family can be hard but the sized rooms were great value for money. We were travelling on a budget but this property exceeded our expectations. Leo breakfast and birdwatching was outstanding. A lovely pool to cool off in. A taxi ride is $4 to town and a bus station right outside, there is a great view of Arenal from a spot in the pool area and in the dining deck. We were lucky enough to see toucans and monkeys in the trees above and Leo was in hand with his telescope. Tje night frog tour was engaging and fun - we also saw an owl.

Situated within 6 km of La Fortuna Waterfall and 5.1 km of Kalambu Hot Springs, Suwa Villa Arenal offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Fortuna. It was just perfect! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The rooms were tidy and cleaned every day. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay in la fortuna. And all that for a very reasonable price. Excellent!

Situated in Alajuela City in the Alajuela region, with Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium nearby, Mario y Jeannette features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The accomodation is located at the perfect place if you have an early flight or you arrive on a flight late at night. The facilities are just what I expected, very clean and you have everything you need for your stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are big and they have a nice kitchen and living room. It was the perfect place to rest after a late night flight. One big plus is that Taco Bell, McDonald's, KFC and many other small restaurants are located at a walking distance from the accomodation. That's very convenient in case you want to get something to eat late at night or very early in the morning.

The outside was also very inviting. They have just really thought this through and made it very special for travelers.

Featuring inner courtyard views, Airport SJO Residence - Edward & Familia Inn features accommodation with balcony, around 33 km from Poas National Park. Cute & clean little appartment. I had a warm welcome & immediately felt like home. Edward is very kind and helpful. The location is great as well as it‘s near to the airport and I felt very safe there.

Situated in Alajuela City, 31 km from Poas National Park, Alexander b&b features recently renovated accommodation with free WiFi and a garden. Patricia is really friendly, she came to pick us up from the airport and helped us find our bus the next day. She cooked us an amazing breakfast and was just very helpful and friendly throughout. The room is basic but it has all you need for a short stay. The bed is really comfy. I would definitely stay there again if I'm back in San José.

Located in Fortuna, the recently renovated Apartamentos M&M provides accommodation 5.1 km from La Fortuna Waterfall and 5.4 km from Kalambu Hot Springs. Very well equipped kitchen. Nice and helpful owners. We got the room a bit earlier than our check in time. Super clean!
