This is an absolutely lovely place to stay, from the second we arrived the staff were so nice and helpful, they connected with us on WeChat and sent us all the information we needed to go to the wall, they offer a taxi service to the wall location close by and can book you a taxi to a further location. They recommended meals for us to try and sat with us to take us through the menu, I can't say enough great things about them they made it so special, the rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. They are located in a beautiful area. Highly, highly recommend

Situated 2.5 km from Gubei Water Town in Miyun and Simatai Great Wall, 20 km from Jinshanling Great Wall, Jumanyuan House features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. The hosts were super hospitable, warm and friendly. The owner came to Beijing Airport to pick me up and brought me safely to their home. It felt like a homestay with home cooked breakfast. The breakfast was sumptuous, and had this very homestyle feel. The location is just six minutes away from the Gubei Watertown and Simatai Great Wall. I wanted to see the Great Wall at night so I chose to stay here. The owner drove me to Gubei Watertown and back to the hotel so transportation was fine and good. Wifi was fine and the bed was huge. Again, the owners were so kind and friendly. I felt like a VIP.

Any information we needed, or help with apps, they were always there to lend a helping hand. They even hosted us for dinner one night! The bed was super comfortable as well. The breakfast was great. Our host, Ellie, was really accommodating and baked fresh bread, macaroons, and croissants for us. Your stay includes a roundtrip car ride and tickets to Gubei Watertown (just 5 minutes drive away). She also arranged for a driver to take us to Panlongshan for a small fee, which is a wild section of the Great Wall about 15 minutes away. I would definitely recommend the hotpot dinner, at the guesthouse, too. I appreciated the small details, like the bathbomb that was provided with the bathtub, too!

Only a 10-minute walk from Badaling Great Wall and a 5-minute stroll from Badaling Railway Station, Beijing Badaling Great Wall Cao’s Courtyard Hostel is a 200-year-old traditional Chinese-style... David is amazing, help me through everything (tickets, taxi, hints, .. ). His English is very good. Courtyard is very nice, food very good. Atmosfere magic. Strongly recommended.
