The staff were extremely helpful and even accommodated a later checkout for us. We loved the room. It had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. WiFi works great if you need to get some work done. We also could park our rental car in the garage which was a nice surprise.

Brilliant place to stay. Very affordable and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Breakfast is great and is enjoyable to start the day. My favourite thing is there’s a box with supplies left over from previous hikers that you can take for free. Highly recommended.

Gistirýmið er með nuddpott. - Great little sanctuary and retreat after a very long flight - comfortable bedding, robe, etc. The perfect place to relax and unwind with a good book and get over the jetlag - Host was very responsive over Whatsapp about any issues and helped arrange a taxi to pick me up at the airport - Very kind and attentive host - helped me bring my bag to and from the Cabana (actually more helpful in that aspect than one of the tour operators!) - Hot tub was easy to power on and off with thorough demonstration at check in - Very enjoyable to soak in the hot tub, sit back and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains!! - Generous continental breakfast offering (yogurt, bread, ham/cheese) and complimentary tea/coffee/juice. - WiFi was reliable - successfully made a video call on my laptop

The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The atmosphere was welcoming so it almost felt as if you were walking into your own home. It’s centrally located, just a few minutes walk to shops, groceries, parks and city center yet quiet and cozy. I wanted to extend my stay but sadly they were sold out which is not surprising.
