Marisa and Thomas were kind and attentive hosts. We had a long chat with Thomas who was full of information regarding the surrounding areas and all the amazing excursion options. Their son, Chayton, is himself an excellent guide who took us on an amazing excursion to see the mysterious source of the Columbia River. Deep in the rainforest, it bubbles from underground, a crystal clear beautiful set of cascades. Suncreek lodge is well kept and the cottage we stayed in was beautifully crafted in wood and very comfortable. We had a wonderful night sleep. Thanks so much Chayton, Thomas and Marisa for a great experience.

Sitting on the covered balcony eating a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit and warm home made muffins, drinking coffee and fresh juice and listening to the birds. Honestly this is old Belize at its best. shhhh don’t tell everyone it’s not called the forgotten District for no reason.
