A wonderful place with an excellent price-performance ratio. Cylia and her colleague provided some of the best and friendliest service I have ever had and dinner was also great. From the terrace you will have a beautiful view in the morning, the drive to the gorilla trekking site takes about 10 minutes. The basic room I stayed in was clean, had 24h electricity, Wi-Fi (even if you don't need it - there is very good mobile internet in the area) and everything else you may need (including intact mosquito nets). I felt very comfortable here.

large four-bedroom villa with large kitchen and living facilities with excellent furniture and TV, a terrace overlooking the lake with a great view and always available staff. If the opportunity arises again, I hope to be able to return to this beautiful and peaceful place again.

The manager Friday with his team were very helpful, friendly and willing. They did their best for us to enjoy the place and also food. The place was clean and cozy with amazing view in the middle of beautiful lake Bunyonyi. The food was delicious for very fair prices and many options which was pleasant surprise for us. The surroundings of the lake has many activities which can be done such as boat trips, zip lines, swimming, Pygmies community or incredible gorillas trekking. I am thankful for marvelous memories and care.

The Makanga Hill Suites offer probably the nicest lodging in Kabale. The suites are based in a new and well-appointed house and are served by capable and friendly staff. Makanga Hill sits up above the hustle of downtown Kabale, with very nice grounds and rewarding views. One can pleasantly walk down across the golf course and into the City center in about 30 minutes; or you can hire the house (Benz!) SUV to drive you; and of course there is a lovely (and secure) carport if you are driving your own vehicle.

It was stunning. We’re so happy we got the room with the balcony because it had such a beautiful view and we really enjoyed staying out there. Everyone there was lovely and helpful- when we got a flat tire, they found someone (affordable) to quickly fix it for us. And the food is incredible! We are vegetarians and we had lunch and dinner (and breakfast the following morning) and it was delicious and so memorable. Make sure to bring a flashlight, it’s dark at night! And you need to be able to walk up and down lots of steps.
