The hostel is in a great location. It very close to many different restaurants (amazing pupusas!!), a natural spring pool is just a 5 minute walk away, and the main town square is a 15 minute walk. The neighborhood felt safe and the hostel owner (Nelson) is a super cool chill dude. He does a free walking tour which I highly recommend to get acquainted with the area. He also has the cutest dog named Bush! It was such a treat getting to know them while staying at the hostel. The hostel kitchen is also well equipped and I also loved that you are able to do your own laundry here in the washing machine. I would definitely recommend this place!

Marvin hjalp oss med alt vi trengte og han hjalp oss langt mer enn man kan forvente. Vi hadde Rom Delux. Det har eget bad med varmt vann. Alt var rent og senga var komfortabel. AC fungerte uten problemer. God frokost og gåavstand til sentrum.

FANTASTIC HOSTAL! Seriously, if you are in Santa Ana don't think it twice, Hostal Las Puertas is the place to go. The room was spotless, the bed was the most comfortable one I have slept in weeks, Wi-Fi worked perfectly and smart TV in the room. The bathroom was extremely clean too. Great water pressure and hot water available. Hostal Las Puertas also has a fully equipped kitchen and a nice indoor patio. The location is also great, since it is walking distance to the city centre and bus stop that takes you to Santa Ana volcano. Last but not least, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay.
