The hostel is in a great location. It very close to many different restaurants (amazing pupusas!!), a natural spring pool is just a 5 minute walk away, and the main town square is a 15 minute walk. The neighborhood felt safe and the hostel owner (Nelson) is a super cool chill dude. He does a free walking tour which I highly recommend to get acquainted with the area. He also has the cutest dog named Bush! It was such a treat getting to know them while staying at the hostel. The hostel kitchen is also well equipped and I also loved that you are able to do your own laundry here in the washing machine. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great new hostel with a lovely vibe, free coffee, spacious areas to hang out and a big kitchen. The owners are lovely locals who took us to a beautiful waterfall and on a coffee tour, all for free. It's located within walking distance to the local markets and bus stations, which is useful. I will be staying here again next time I go to Santa Ana :)

We wanted to sing the praises of the Master of Ceremonies who made us (and Everyone!) feel as they were the most cherished guest ever! Maximillian (Maxi), welcomed us with opened arms, sent us off with a skip in our step, and ensured that we were well cared for our entire time! He, and the whole staff treated us with the cheerful alacrity that reflects true joy! I had hoped for a fun respite, but it was so much more! I was apprehensive that Captain Morgan was going to be a raucous party scene, and although it was fun, it was relaxing, calm, and we slept great! I practiced morning yoga as the sun rose over the lake. After our volcano hike, we enjoyed delicious (massive!) smoothies on the deck. We had a blast talking with very cool, interesting travelers. The staff helped us so much coordinating our bus when we were leaving. It was all really great!
