We loved that the yard was very secure and private. It is a huge grassy area surrounding the building. Everything is very clean and like new. The pool is relaxing. The staff are really friendly and nice. They were welcoming when we arrived. They will answer any questions you have.

Hammock Plantation is a super friendly environment and a more intimate hostel run by a lovely host family. It's a short walk to the beach and to a pupuseria (what more do you need?) and the family can help you arrange transportation, COVID tests, etc. They also hooked me up with a surf lesson with a great instructor. I really enjoyed hanging at the hostel - one night we all (the family + the guests) ordered food together and chatted. There are beers and sodas available at all times, it's just an honor system bar tab on a piece of paper. Wifi worked well and the room + bathroom was clean. They offer long-term private accommodations too and I would totally consider going back for that.

My friend and I had a great stay at Casa Cuscatlan. Nancy is a very attentive host, who was always there to help us from the beginning until the end. She helped us ordering food, guiding us to the nearest beaches and restaurants, and organizing transportation. The garden has a beautiful view of the valley. It's a very quiet, safe and walkable neighborhood.

This property was absolutely beautiful and charming. It’s more like a beach villa than a tree house. The property is quite large and can certainly provide large parties for daytime around the pool and pool house, however only sleeps about 6 comfortably as the actual house is smaller in size. The modern decor and furnishings make up for its size making this comfortable and lovely to hang out it when it got really hot! One modern indoor bathroom with de-fogging mirror and pool house bathroom in addition to the poolside shower. Beds were very comfortable. And A/C was great! Plan for no laundry machine. Property is completely secured!! We ate on the porch and inside as there is a bar with stools in the kitchen and table outside with a patio set. Plus a table in the poool house too! The kitchen offered everything from a good coffee maker and el salvadorian coffee and milk frothier, salt and sugar & all things needed to cook. There was even filtered water tank and ice in the freezer. I felt so at home here! Kids loved the pool & taking naps or reading in the hammocks. You can see the beach from here and takes about ten minutes to walk to. The beach is private and also mother most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen in my life. If I had to choose between Hawaii and here and come back here over and over. One thing we were surprised about was the flight of stairs to get up to the house from the street- about 4 or 5 flights going uphill as the property is on a steep hill. Not a problem for us- we counted it as cardio! The trees and property are well maintained and caretakers come everyday to water and clean the pool. Another surprise was the additional pool at the beach! Overall excellent place to stay with family or friends to relax and have fun in absolute paradise. We will certainly be returning.

Amazing location near the beach, you can walk down and check the surf. Lovely staff and fantastic breakfast included, omlette and Eggs Benedict (El Salvador version) were both fantastic! Will stay again if I return.
