Location. Scenic beauty, facilities and behaviour of the host. Kurt is an amazing host. He has picked us from bus station because it was raining when we arrived. He had shown us every details of the apartment and explained in detailed. He provided us a fresh fish as gesture. He used to meet us everyday to know about our convenient and comfort. The host, Kurt is such a nice person that he touched our heart. You must stay in this apartment if you wish to enjoy nature.

Very close to the center of Svolvaer, close to the meeting point for bus tours. The host helps guests in every possible way, for example she helped me to get to the airport or provided additional clothes for someone who had not correctly estimated the temperature of Norvegian winter. All the rooms are carefully designed (furniture, decoration, art exhibits) and tell quite a lot about Norvegian culture.

I absolutely love every corner of this house. Beside Lene's lovely decorations, it has a well-equipped living space, kitchen, and heated bathroom floors. It's within walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. I want to thanks Armand for all the tips and for taking me on a road trip to Reine. Highly recommend!

This penthouse deserves its name a 100 percent: it’s absolutely excellent in every respect and was built, designed and furnished up to the highest standards possible - technologically, quality- and design-wise. I think the (wealthy?) owners invested an enormous amount of money in order to use it themselves as a holiday flat. We were really overwhelmed when we arrived - and quite upset when we had to leave. Its location in Svolvært is also perfect - quiet, but only a two minutes walk from Hurtigruten Terminal and the beautiful sea promenade and main square.

It was easy to find with the instructions I received, and the apartment was just like home! Everything we needed was there, and more. It was also convenient to the shops, buses and ferries. Our time in Svolvaer was outstanding, in part due to this accommodation being so homely.

The property is actually a house inhabited by a family, which we had all for ourselves during our stay. It had everything we might have needed. It is wonderfully decorated, very spacious, with two sofas and several armchairs in the living room. The large veranda had a wonderful view of Svolvaer, the port, and the mountains around the city. The location, close to the road serving the Lofoten peninsula, is just perfect for exploring the base of the peninsula.

There is a kitchen on the floor, very practical if you prefer to cook something simple rather than eat out again.

I love sitting area outside where was grill and all you need to to bbq. In kitchen all cupboards been marked by room numbers so fridge so food was not mess up. Very big lounge area amd dining area. There is Spar 2 minutes from house , 5 minutes to market place,15 min to to hiking area. Washing machine, dryer all you need to start or finish trip at Lofoten Islands.

Fully equipped apartment, excellent location in the middle of the village of Svolvaer, perfect to use as a base camp on our visit to the Lofoten Islands. Gas station and supermarkets (7-23h) very close to the flat. Everything (check-in, wifi...) was easy, fluid and very well explained, despite arriving very late in the evening the first day, under heavy snow, and not dealing directly with the host at any time. Absolutely recommended for 2-4 people.
