The host helped us a lot. When we came we did not have any food with us, he lent us his scooter for free to go get some food in town. We could also store our baggage when exploring the island for a few days. Great location with a nice vibe. Would come again.

It’s so green and colourful. Peaceful on the hammock for a snooze. Bed is super comfy and location is great close to town and port.

Our stay in Ometepe was absolutely wonderful, thanks to Esmeralda. She went above and beyond to assist us with every aspect of our visit. From meeting us at the ferry station in pouring rain to arranging transportation for our large luggage. Esmeralda even took the initiative to find and book a guide for our Volcano hike, as well as assisting us in planning other activities on the island. Esmeralda also rents motorbikes, which we would highly recommend to use. It’s very handy to use on the island, and give you some independence. Also, would be way cheaper than the taxi. Despite our lack of experience with motorbikes, Esmeralda patiently explained everything, helped us with practice, and guided us through Ometepe's challenging capital roads. She truly made our motorbike experience enjoyable and safe. Moreover, noticed my injured leg, she offered to arrange for an osteopath and even went the extra mile to pick him up, allowing me to receive treatment in the comfort of the accommodation. Also, we even got a help with washing and drying out dirty clothes after the hike. We travel a lot and I don’t think we ever had such a great assistance while having so many issues anywhere else. On top of everything, the accommodations were delightful, with well-maintained and charming surroundings, a spacious common area, and a lovely garden. We wholeheartedly recommend to stay at Esmeralda’s.

Super friendly staff and the family that owns it that’s there on weekends. I was there cause of a motorcycle accident on the island and they were super helpful with going to pharmacy and anything I needed. Highly recommend this place. Danilo was the perfect host. The property was very clean and new, with a nice garden area. Danilo was helpful in every aspect. Whether it was getting a great deal for a scooter, or recommendations on where to eat or what activities were available, he was on top of it all.
