The host helped us a lot. When we came we did not have any food with us, he lent us his scooter for free to go get some food in town. We could also store our baggage when exploring the island for a few days. Great location with a nice vibe. Would come again.

Helpful & welcoming staff. We had the option to upgrade to air conditioning for an extra $10/night. It was hot, so we took it. The staff connected us to reasonably-priced & trustworthy scooter rentals, so that was a real bonus. They also prepared a breakfast for us at short-notice when we realized we wanted to catch a ferry at a certain time, so that was appreciated. Other reviews mention "sketchy characters" around, but nobody bothered us out on the streets at all. Definitely recommended!

Eric the receptionist is a legend. They did my washing for cheap and we're very helpful overall. The hostel had a good vibe too!

Very helpful, kind, friendly family. A pleasure to stay with them. Room was clean, freshly painted, comfortable bed, with fan and bathroom, lovely terrace with volcano view. All meals on their breakfast menu were delicious and cheap. I broke my arm and stayed there for 3 weeks. The family did all they could to help me. It was a short walk to town with restaurants and supermarket. They take pride in their place which is their home.Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

If you want a peaceful sleep at night without the constant sound of dogs barking…this is your place. So quiet. The owners are there to help you. On site there are cows, horses, talking parrots and a beautiful (non barking dog)😁 It truly is a magical place…I’ve been to Moyogalpa 4 times now and this is by far my favourite. Price/quality wise = 10! -The bed and the private room were comfortable with a (strong) fan that did its work perfectly -Bathroom ok (shower only cold water (like everywhere in Moyogalpa?), but no big problem in the climate over there) and is shared with the hosting family and other guests -WiFi worked very well in the room and outside -Location a few steps from the dock/ferry and in the center, so close to restaurants, supermarket and other stores -The owner Esmeralda can arrange tours and scooter rental (including instruction if needed) for good prices -Outside/patio area where you can sit/hang out -There’s a kitchen you can use -Free drinking water -If it’s open: the on site restaurant offers very decently priced food+drinks -Friendly and helpful staff❤️

Super friendly staff and the family that owns it that’s there on weekends. I was there cause of a motorcycle accident on the island and they were super helpful with going to pharmacy and anything I needed. Highly recommend this place. The facilities are super clean and nice common area to hang out in
