What I enjoyed the most was Saro’s hospitality and the location (10-15 min from Battambang, in the nature). My bungalow was rudimentary inside (just a mattress on the floor, with some nice decoration and a well-needed fan though) and a desk to keep my thinks but, sincerely, I did not miss anything and I think that this is what made the charm of the place). I also had a private terrasse, which was more furnished (with 2 fans and a nice view), on which I would rest and chill. I also appreciated the possibility of taking the bike for free. Saro’s family was very nice too.

Our room was incredibly clean and spacious and had everything we need. Bun and his family were so helpful and so kind, we felt at home immediately. We also booked a half day tour with them, which we enjoyed immensely. The breakfast was so filling and yummy, and we had a couple lunches they offer on the property, which we also recommend, it was very affordable and delicious. Overall I highly recommend staying here, it was by far one of our favorite stays on our trip. Thanks Bun and family for the amazing hospitality 😊

The location was very great, it is in the central, very close to the central market and many coffee shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable, with a new air conditioner, and also a small kitchen that you can cook. I stay here feeling like my home. Fi-Wi is very fast that's good for the guest who needs to do some work like me. With a garden, some plants, hammock where you can take a nap on. I will come here often when I come to Battambang.

Upon arriving my two friends and I were welcomed by friendly staff who made us feel so comfortable! We booked the upstairs apartment suite which had SO much space, clean facilities, and a spacious balcony that we spent much time on. The staff gave us lots of information about the city surroundings and suggested many good restaurants options. They offered some day tour options for a VERY good price - one in Northern Battambang and one in Southern Battambang. We chose to do the Southern tour and it ended up being one of the best experiences of our trip! We took a tuktuk with a driver that went above and beyond - he was incredibly sweet, easy to talk to and taught us so much about Cambodian culture! The food was also amazing - one of the best omelettes I've ever had! Loved this little family run business and I 100% recommend this to anyone planing to stay in Battambang!

Por Chey was the absolutely best value-for-money property I’ve ever stayed at. Each room seems to have a slightly different deco, they’re sparsely furnished but with everything one might need for a night or two, including complementary water. The owner was ready to do a room swap for me when, no fault of the property but due to the location (people, remember we’re in Cambodia near rural areas), I was greeted by some local fauna. Both rooms were equally clean, plenty of space, hot water in the shower (there’s no partition between the toilet and shower, but one only needs to be mindful when showering), solid mattress and good pillows. Service level was great: upon arrival, the owner arranged a tour with his trusted tuk tuk driver (if it’s trusted, there’s a good reason, the guy was a great guide!), my coach reservation for my trip back and a last minute dinner. The location is a bit further from the town centre than for other hotels, but still easy to walk (or just get a tuk tuk). Overall, exceptional stay indeed! Thank you!
