Dana is in quite a poor area of Jordan. Therefore you really get the Jordanian culture experience! Host provided a guide to take us around Dana nature reserve. Highly recommend this. No real restaurant facilities in Dana so I would request that the Hobbit Village provide lunch/dinner.

Amazing campsite!! It’s located at the top of a hill with absolutely stunning views - you can see all the way to the Dead Sea! We visited in July and we’re worried about the heat, but the altitude kept it cool and comfy - we wore our sweaters in the evening, in fact. It’s only a very short walk to the entrance of Dana Reserve, where you can catch a free shuttle to some hiking trails. Or the camp can arrange a guide for you to explore trails deeper in the park! The staff was so generous and kind and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious (and they accommodated for us as vegetarians no problem), and the tea and fruit and water coming throughout the day. There were plenty of comfy places to sit and read throughout the camp, or to connect to the surprisingly strong wifi. Everything was very clean. In short, very much recommended!

This camp was one of the most memorable places I’ve been in Jordan. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, the staff couldn’t have been any more accommodating and hospitable, the food was fresh and delicious, the tent was extremely clean and cozy, and our stay was overall spectacular. The property was GORGEOUS! Beautiful view, perfect distance from Dana Village, and clean and comfortable facilities. The staff was all so nice and welcoming and accommodated all of our needs. I would highly recommend staying here and supporting the Dana Cooperative!

The property is in great condition, and the owner Ramzi is very accommodating and friendly. It is brand new with a rooftop and dining area. The food there is also really delicious and comes from local farmers. Definitely recommend this place!

It was the nicest experience, we’ve heard in Jordan, and overall.  it’s a family owned hotel and the owners will make you feel like you’re part of the family.  Very friendly, very kind, whatever you need they will provide for it. At one point, we had to go to pharmacist, a they took care of everything.
