Wonderful stay. Welcome and hosting was superb. Lovely breakfast on a terrace with knock-out views. Beautiful and tranquil garden (but don't ask about the mosquitos..!). A bit out of Stresa so you def need a car but there is ample parking. Lovely to have a cat on the premises, too! Really would recommend.

We stayed at Ratto del Gallo for 5 nights, in a lovely one bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a small living room (there are also rooms at the B&B). The hostess, Orsetta, is a kind and warm lady, who likes to help with useful tips and suggestions about daily trips in the area. The location is amazing' just above Stresa, with beautiful views of Lago Maggiore. Breakfast is superb with high quality local products and freshly baked pies and cakes. We highly recommend this B&B!

The room, location, staff, services - and the view! - were all exceptional. I only wish we had been able to stay longer. In addition, I accidentally left some things behind and they were promptly sent on to my next stop. I couldn't possibly rate this property more highly and I thank Casa Rampolina's staff for going above and beyond the call of duty. I'm looking forward to returning for a longer stay on my next trip.

The unit was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was large and the shower had plenty of hot water. It was spotlessly clean. Great the have the washing machine available. The balcony gave us the opportunity to sit out in the morning with a coffee and listen to the birds sing. Nice quiet neighbourhood, close to the train station, to the waterfront and to restaurants. The hostess was very helpful as the suggestions for dinner options. Highly recommend Mamma Mia for a great dining experience.
