We love this casa so much! The entire stay was amazing. I love how the owner is very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The casa itself is beautiful and we can tell that the owner put efforts on adding the little touches to create a beautiful ambiance overall. It was also wonderful how they have access to a private dock! It was quiet and no one is around to bother you. We go there every morning, lay and watch the sunrise. They also provide a kayak we can use. I thought that was thoughtful. Overall, I highly recommend this casa! Perfect location especially if you like the privacy!

The location was spectacular - our room (and I believe this is true for all of the rooms) had unobstructed views of the volcanoes and massive lake views. Very easy to navigate by boat, tuk tuk or walking if you don't mind unpaved roads and a little dust. Dita, John and the staff were awesome...felt like we were at home but in paradise. It's a great place to relax, enjoy a day in San Marcos and/or Panajachel. We went to Santiago by boat for a few hours and if you're lucky to go on market day, it's very colorful and intriguing.

Ha estat genial! Buscava relax, conèixer una mica més la cultura dels pobles maya... i quedar-me en aquest hostal ha estat un gran encert. Ubicat just davant del llac al petit i tranquil poble de San Juan la Laguna, et despertes veient la sortida del sol al llac des del llit literalment! El Carlos i el Gerson son encantadors, et fan sentir com a casa i t'aconsellen en qualsevol cosa necessitis.

Love the location, it's just by the lake. Love the bed confort and cleanliness of it Love the privacy of a tent Again location was great :) He was available quickly to fix the little thing mentioned Love the lake view from the bathroom !
