We really enjoyed the setting of our room in the jungle where the rustic outdoor kitchen connect us to the nature . The bedroom and bath look out to the forest. The shower with 3 different heads was great. The place was built 6 years ago by European couple, Cat from France and Phil from Germany. The decoration of the lodge was very relaxing and comfortable. The swimming pool was a great escape for the hot humid weather. We also enjoyed meeting a white nosed coati, a vulture and a group of squirrel monkeys in the backyard. We woke up by all kind of sounds from animal kingdom ..... We appreciate that the hosting couple went out their way to welcome us with good fruits and assisted us.

These two guest houses are nestled in a magnificent jungle landscape on the grounds of a small farm. There are horses, chickens, a cat and two dogs. We particularly liked the paradisiacal jungle river, where you can also swim. The hosts are incredibly helpful and nice and make a great breakfast and dinner for their guests in the open-air kitchen. We felt very comfortable there.

It was beautiful waking up to the sounds of the rainforest, I stayed at a beautiful cabin surrounded with trees. The unit was very comfortable and the lodge has very nice communal areas. Great friendly host and secured inside parking. The area is very quiet a short drive to the center.

It was a most interesting place to visit and stay. The scenery, nature, birds, flowers--it was all a WOW experience. I loved it and so relaxing. Also, meeting the other people who stayed there was fun and we learned about the waterfalls and hikes nearby. The breakfast and dining hall was a great meeting place. We chose to come back each night and ate there as well as breakfast. The food was fresh and really good. The manager, Giselle, was so helpful and welcoming. Anyone who loves birds should plan a visit here and to hike the property. The nearby waterfalls are lovely and refreshing. We especially liked that it wasn't over crowded and a privately owned estate. We didn't see the owner's coffee farm, but bought some to take home. We got to enjoy the local coffee for breakfast.

I was one of the first guests at this newly refurbished hotel. Stephan and his team were very helpful at check in with a tour of the beautiful property. The room was large, nicely furnished and clean. The hot tub is spectacular and is a nice community space that allowed me to get to know some of the other guests that weekend. Stephan is a Chef and the breakfast buffet was amazing. He also offered to prepare items that weren't on the buffet upon request.

It was nice to arrive to this peaceful and quiet place. I’m a light sleeper so this place is definitely recommended. The host was responsive and helped with all the questions. It is beautiful to see the garden, all the animals that come to visit. Definitely recommended!

We had room with three beds and a private bathroom that worked our very well for our family of 4. The room was very clean. We really loved the outdoor terrace area near the common kitchen (the breakfast was the best out of 5 hotels that we stayed at in Costa Rica) and found everyone to be super hospitable. The pool was cute and our favorite part was the breath breath work and yoga classes that took place on the terrace.

Horses on site to ride. Ellie the dog will act as your private guide through the forest. The beautiful setting and views. We stayed in a freestanding ultra modern “chalet” style villa that had a deck with a fantastic view. Breakfast was included and tasted great. Markus is a very attentive host. We say monkeys and toucans from our breakfast table! Staff were very friendly and food was delish!! We stayed in the two bedroom villa and it was wonderful to have the kitchen and small deck area. they also run a shuttle to the National park and beach throughout the day. This is super convenient!
