The story of the owners is amazing. You can feel the passion which they put in creating the Nepenthe. The view from the apartment and from the pool is amazing. From there we visit La fortuna, Hot springs and Arenal 1968. It is very peaceful place to stay.

The views were wonderful, just what we needed. The lake really brought some peace for us. Being able to enjoy some of the tourist attractions and returning to the quiet open spaces of the love cabin was very special for us. The cabin provided plenty of room for us. We enjoyed our mornings on the deck and had great views of the volcano daily. Definitely a place we will return to

A wonderful place! ... Really "in the sky", all around only nature, no view of houses. Very good for birdwatching, toucans come by daily and hummingbirds are everywhere. There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.

The view is amazing. We were waisted because everything we saw during the hikes couldn’t compete with our place. And lot’s of Kolibri’s and butterflies in the garden.
