Our Host provided everything we could need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The codes for the Key Lock Box and all other instructions we needed for our stay were provided the day prior and were super clear and thorough. Heating was on when we arrived and the apartment remained at a comfortable even temperature without any adjustments needed. Helen (our Host) was easy to contact when we had questions and was friendly and attentive. It was great to have so much space in an apartment at such a reasonable cost, so close to all the tourist attractions. The kitchen was well equipped, it was homely having a dining table in it's own room for meals, and the lounge room more than accommodated 3 adults with a couch and chair. Having Netflix provided was a bonus and appreciated when it was freezing at night and too cold to go out. An old apartment block with lots of history and charm, it has been tastefully renovated in the bathroom and kitchen whilst still leaving some rustic charm. The stairs to the 3rd floor were a bit challenging with the luggage but it certainly wasn't a major negative. Location was perfect for an international visitor wanting to explore Ottawa on foot. It was central for visiting many tourist areas in all directions. Also close to supermarkets for supplies and restaurants and eateries were in abundance, particularly only a block away on Elgin Street. Would definitely stay here again if in town and recommend to anyone looking to visit Ottawa.

Amazing place! It wasn't just a nice B&B, but it really felt like home. Pierre was very helpful and made a great breakfast. He even brought me back to the train station on my last day. Thank you very much for everything! The house is close to the lively Byward Market and Rideau station, but the street itself is very quite and peaceful. Would definitely recommend staying here!

From the seamless check-in process to the thoughtful amenities, it was evident that the host went above and beyond to make the stay exceptional. Breakfast was Keurig, but no milk. I went down the street to Bank for Starbucks, and later, grabbed a couple of milk pods at a pub to bring back for Monday and Tuesday AM. On arrival, I was fortunate to spot a Lebanese restaurant a short block away for a take out. Looked like a nice front balcony, but with the cool and rainy weather, I kept it locked.
