It was quiet, and clean. The host were kind but we didn’t see too much of them as we were out and about a lot. Perfect location for visiting Galway, Canamara, and Aran Islands. Also the views of the ocean and the cute walk down to the shore was a nice benefit.

The attached pub turned into a nice community gathering spot at night with lots of drinking options on tap!

We had booked a room in this beautiful castle for one night. The room we first had seemed e a bit small, especially the bed was short for my tall husband. We asked for another room and we were moved into a wonderful farmhouse in the courtyard of the castle. So we had a superior accommodation in two floors including living room with fireplace, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It was beyond expectations! The personnel in the castle was very nice and helpful and breakfast was also very good in a gorgeous milieu.

Featuring a lift, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Paula was fabulous, made us a pot of tea on arrival and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The location is great for exploring the area, the breakfast very good and the Heritage Centre a great experience.

Cliff walk was a wonderful unique feature.
