The location was nice and central to what I wanted to see. Bus stops were very close, which made traveling easy. Adorable guest house located steps from the train station and the beach. “Downtown” is a few blocks away. The St Duthus Villa is well kept and the staff is welcoming. My room felt homey, almost like I was in my old teenage bedroom. Nicely decorated with many thoughtful touches and amenities. Despite its nearness to the train depot, I never heard the train pass by. I was late for breakfast, so can’t comment on that, but the coffee pot was full, and I was encouraged to help myself. Wonderful experience.
