What stood out was the extremely good service - late arrival by plane was accommodated with taxi pickup at the airport who could give us the keys to the property, then the manager stayed in contact with us on whatsapp until 1am and from 5am to inform us about the latest ferry schedule for the 7am ferry, all proactively without us asking for this, which allowed my family to sleep 1h longer in a very short night. Rooms and location are excellent value for money as well.

A recently renovated property, New Rooftop Penthouse with Oceanview is located in Santa Maria near Praia António Sousa, Praia de Santa Maria and Ponta da Fragata Beach. Robert made our experience unique! He gave us all the best tips of the island because he knows it really well and he made a personal tour with us! He was adorable and made everything easy for us, from the kite surf lessons to the scuba diving and the restaurants! One day we went fishing in his boat! The apartment is very comfortable and the terrace is amazing, the location is perfect because everything is near and walking distance! Getting to visit Sal with Robert it is a must, is an experience you can not have in any other apartment or hotel. We are coming back for sure

Set in Santa Maria and only 200 metres from Praia António Sousa, Ocean Roof offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had a wonderful stay at the OceanRoof. The apartments are modern, very clean and superbly equipped - very important for us: the comfortable and clean bed. The hotel is also very quiet and ideally located for us, right by the beach and also by AnguloBeach for water sports. JC is a really attentive host who was always helpful with many bookings such as car rental, taxi and restaurant tips. An absolute recommendation for a stay on Sal!

I got a wonderful assistance when booking ferry tickets from the cumbersome unlogical website of the connection to the amazing island St. Antao. And the hosts participated in well-prepared dinners at a Mexican restaurant nearby - and a fish restaurant where the concept FRESH fish get a new meaning for me. I can only say : STAY THERE !!!

He was reachable all the time and was there when we had questions. The kitchen has everything you need to cook(it even had more equipment than what I have at home in my own kitchen e.g. orange juice maker). The accommodation also offers free water which is drinkable and a lot of towels, soap, a hairdryer and even a welcome bottle of wine. Room is very clean and has mosquito protection on the balconies. On the top of the accommodation you can find a beautiful terrace to relax and hang your clothes after washing them (washing machine available in the accommodation). Peter sent us so many suggestions and names of people that offer activities, everyone will find something they like. The accommodation is located in villa verde which is almost like a small village for itself with its own supermarket which is open until 8pm. Transportation to the city is free. Bikini beach is super close and beautiful. Also u get 15% off at Bo Beach Bar.
