If you are looking for an opportunity to get in touch and support a beatiful local community this is the place to be. You will eat (the best!) local food and if you’re willing to, you will be embraced by a whole community that is always smiling and likes a good chat. the breakfast and dinners are plentiful and very very good. You can easily pass on having lunch during the day when you are hiking. the rooms are very confy and you will have all you need. the view and the surroundings are stunning. this is an association created and led by local women. they will arrange the transportation if you ask for it.

Super lovely place, love the roof terrace. Great place to enjoy after a day’s long hike. Dinner and breakfast were tasty and plentiful! Totally recommend this place.

Sissi is one of my favourite hostesses in all of Cape Verde. She is a really sweet and caring person. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing: omlette with delicious fresh youghut, bread, cheece, fresh coffee, juice, butter jam and a small cake. This is the best breakfast in all of CV. Sissi welcomed me as arrived off the alugeur, waving at me from her top window. She showed me around and helped me understand the hiking alternatives in the area, how to get there and how much it costs. She is very interested in helping you, not just grabbing your money. Sissi also allows you use of her kitchen, stove and refrigerator. She is truely a terrific host and helped me have an amazing time in Santo Antao. Thank you Sissi!!!

Great location, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, and super friendly staff. David and the girls will go out of their way to help you have a nice stay. I spent four nights there, and it was a perfect base to explore the island from, and a relaxing place to return to after a long day of hiking. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel! Loved the view and swimming pool. Breakfast was great. Great place to relax after hiking. Close to the centre of Ribeira Grande, which has restaurants. The hosts are super sweet.

Amazing staff. The girls were so kind and helpful and David speaks English super well and was very prompt to answer any questions I had about the local area and b&b. Absolutely recommend staying here if you’re in ponta do sol. WiFi is also decently fast for Cape Verde standards. Super clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was also delicious every morning.

Casa BB&Djassi felt like home - with big thanks to the ladies who take amazing care of the house and their guests, Talyna, Djenny and Ana. The rooms are comfortable, the location great and it was just a happy place to be. I’m not the only one who extended my stay while there! Communication was also excellent - with the team accommodating my request for good internet in my room, as well as providing multiple options to work across the house. I’ll definitely be back. The room - spacious, modern, and comfortable. The location - in the heart of Ponta do Sol and close to the beginning of the trek to Cruzinha. The staff - The ladies on staff were very nice and helpful; David the manager was a gracious and accommodating host. He went out of his way to call 4 separate restaurants for me to ask if they had food after I came out of a work stupor at 3pm realizing I was starving! The breakfast - a variety of choices to fill you up prior to your hike.
