Very peaceful overlooking a waterway with enough marine traffic to make it interesting. Good swimming at the bottom of the garden. Bikes and boat to borrow were great. Hosts delightful.

Stockholm archipelago with boat and bikes, a property with a garden, is set in Djurhamn, 41 km from Fotografiska - Museum of Photography, 43 km from Tele2 Arena, as well as 44 km from The Royal... The location. We had moose in the garden and the water just down the road. It felt like were both out in nature yet close to shops.

Set just 30 km from Tele2 Arena, Guesthouse at Ingarö Stockholm archipelago (breakfast) features accommodation in Grönskan with access to an open-air bath, free bikes, as well as bicycle parking. The cabin is equipped like a house someone lives in continuously. Nothing is missing. The kitchen even provides a microwave and an oven. Lasse and his wife made me feel extremely welcome. They left plenty of food for me for the breakfast. I loved the terrace and the comfortable bed (the mattress was perfect for my sensitive back). My favorite places however were the viewpoint and jetty just a short walk from the cabin. I recommend this place also for nature lovers who travel by bus. It was easy to reach although be aware that the bus does not drive too often and you can start hikes to the nature reserves either directly from there or from the final stop of the bus (or rent a bike from Lasse). Nature there is amazing! I spent hours in the woods, collecting blueberries, lying on one of the sandy beaches in Björnö and was visited by a deer. Canoeing is possible nearby as well and there is a fantastic bistro in Björnö with delicious, well-priced food which I highly recommend (attention to opening hours!). If you need to go shopping, the next supermarket is only 5km away.

Boasting an open-air bath and views of lake, Modern Villa in Stockholm Archipelago is a recently renovated villa set in Värmdö, 29 km from Fotografiska - Museum of Photography. I love the neighbourhood and the property itself is beautifully managed and zen.

Toppstugan is located in Åkerö and offers barbecue facilities. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Perfect location and view. Very nice and well equipped holiday house

Located on the island of Sandön in the Stockholm archipelago, Missionshuset Bed & Breakfast is set in Sandhamn. The property can be reached by local ferry transportation. My friend and I stayed in the very cozy cabin “Friggan”,. Which meant we had our own bathroom / toilet and private small terras. The excellent breakfast buffet was served in the dining / living area of the main building. Our host showed us the guest rooms upstairs( 5 if I’m not mistaken ): they look cozy and comfortable as well. Guests staying there share 2 bathrooms. This is a perfect B&B setup. This is a great place and the central location makes it easy to wander around town. During summer when you can enjoy the decent size terras it will be an even more pleasant place to stay. I can also highly recommend a visit to the Sandhamn Värdshus for a drink, lunch or dinner. Good food, friendly staff in an “good old cozy pub setting”. And very well done both Missions Huset and Sandhamn Värdshus, they are open all year round. Last but not least, our host was the most friendly, professional lady you can wish for. Fabulous!!

This eco-friendly hostel is found by Riddersholm Nature Reserve, in the Roslagen Archipelago. It has a guest kitchen and TV lounge. Bike and kayak rentals are possible on site. Very clean and cosy. Really good and comfortable and very CLEAN place. Recommend. Very convenient before ferry or after ferry in Kapelskar.

A&M is located in Nynäshamn, 2.1 km from Badberget Beach, 2.4 km from Tian Beach, and 1.7 km from Nynäshamn Ferry Terminal. This homestay provides free private parking and a shared kitchen. Wonderful host with care and attention to us (we were coming super late and going super early in the morning), added snacks and drinks for us. The bed is super comfy, it is very quiet and beautiful neighborhood.
