It was incredible! The house is amazing, stylish, super clean, cozy and comfortable. The best stay we had in Portugal. The owner was super responsive and kind (let us stay few hours longer without additional charge). Highly recommended!

It is the perfect place for a family stay. The house had everything we needed to cook the food, both inside and outside. It is a quite place with a fantastic view over the vineyards and the river. Our kid enjoyed the pool area, especially when the lovely donkey Nikita came by :) The territory is well kept and the staff is polite (and even easy and interesting to speak with even if you don't speak Portuguese). Everyone had a fantastic holiday. The only decisions were whether to swim in the pool or the river which was surprisingly warm. We loved watching the river cruise boats go past too! It is a remote and very peaceful location which was exactly what we were looking for. Lovely sandy beach below the house. Awoken to cockerels and sheep bells tinkling! A rural idyll. Shops & supermarkets in Cinfaes only 10 to 15 min drive away.

Quinta da Ermida er staðsett við Douro-ána og er umkringt gróskumikilli sveit. Það er með útisundlaug. Gestir geta lagt eigin báta við bryggjuna eða farið í bátsferð. This was one of the finest places we’ve ever been! The staff is fantastic, the location is literally perfect! The food was wonderful. Only complaint was the beds were a little too firm for our tastes. Also for light sleepers the train coming through a couple times a night might be a problem. But all the other wonderful factors more than made up for any comfort with the beds or sound at night. We had one of the greatest time of our lives there. We absolutely recommend!!!

The house is very well located, in a town with routes in the natural park and close to various other routes and beautiful places, including Arribes.

Unbeatable views of the Douro river and valley. Nothing compares to opening the bedroom large window in the morning to be greeted with such a view. Loved the outside area. Very tranquil and surr ounded with various fruit trees.
