Beach front, nice view (the pics are so true) and clean pool. Beds were great, good shower. Kitchen has all you need. In the surroundings you can make nice hikes. Very calm and relaxing environment. Small supermarket and coffee corner at two hundred meters.

Beautiful garden. Loved our individual patio area with comfortable seating as well as sun beds. Make good use of the pool. The whole place was quiet, calm and relaxing. Breakfast was tasty, including local and home made produce. The paper bag to take our uneaten bread/pastries was a really nice touch, as was the bath robes in the bedroom.

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying in Encontro no Rio. From the moment we arrived, the owners, David, Daniela and the kids welcomed us with open arms, making us feel like part of their family. Their warmth and kindness truly made the experience special. The farmhouse was a gem! The stunning view of the river took our breath away every single day. The pool was an excellent addition, and we spent many enjoyable hours relaxing and splashing around in the water. The animals on the property were an absolute delight. It was heartwarming to see how well they were cared for and how friendly they were with all the guests. The highlight of our stay was definitely the horseback ride with "Cavalos no Rio Mondego." Exploring the beautiful surroundings on horseback was an unforgettable experience. The horses were well-trained, and the guides were knowledgeable, ensuring we had a safe and thrilling ride. We genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay, and we are already looking forward to coming back! Thank you, David and Daniela, for providing us with such an unforgettable experience. Great kitchen. Comfortable beds and big bathrooms. Very up to date bathrooms and on every floor. The yard is beautiful. Right on the water. Fruit trees and ample parking. Hosts are very kind and very nice. The BBQ is wood fired. They supply wood, and you can also pick driftwood from the beach. Quiet setting. We just love this place and we will definitely be back.

Dani was a great host, so kind and attentive, offering meal options and then 1 night cooking with the other guests for one evening, a really nice vibe. Dani speaks 5 languages so we felt very much at home, as did other guests from different backgrounds, which created a strong bond between us. The pool and grounds are exceptional and worth a visit by its own.
