Mike’s daily breakfast creation was very tasty and fresh. His past culinary experience and obvious knack shows. Sally was lovely and friendly; easy to chat with about activities, tips and any questions. She is a great ambassador for Bocas and its animals (Papa Gato Animal Welfare). As an added bonus to our stay, kayaks, bikes, paddle board and a spontaneous invite and boat ride to “The Floating Bar” with Mike. Overall, fantastic stay.

Set in Big Creek, 550 metres from Y Griega and 1.1 km from Istmito, Sol y Sombra offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool. Richard (and his dog Sombra :D ) were super friendly, helped us with everything and gave us great suggestions for tours, restaurants, beaches, … Rooms are very spacious and clean plus one can also get free towels for the pool and beach! Breakfast is a bit expensive but worth the money as there is a great variety and Richard even makes pancakes or eggs.

Set in Bluff Beach, 6 km from Bocas Town, Oasis Bluff Beach features unobstructed views of the beach and ocean. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Oh my goodness, let me tell you about the most amazing hotel experience we ever had - it was like paradise on steroids! First of all, the location was killer. Right in front of the beach with waves crashing, it was so surreal and peaceful (no need for a white noise machine like I do in Brooklyn). I felt like a mermaid basking in the sun, with the ocean as my soundtrack, while the cutest baby sloths, colorful birds, and other amazing animals were doing their thing, adding to the beauty. It was like living in a Disney movie! But let me tell you, it was the hosts (Simon and Wendy) who really stole the show. These guys were the most adorable, hilarious and attentive people I've ever met. They had us in stitches every day, cracking jokes and making sure we were having the time of our lives. I felt like I was staying with family! The staff (that are like family to Wendy and Simon) was equally amazing - always friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. And let's not forget about the hotel's furry ambassadors, the cutest dogs ever: Jack and Lucky! They were so friendly, and I swear I sometimes spent more time petting them than sunbathing. Honestly, I never wanted to leave this place. I could have stayed forever, sipping on spicy Margaritas, doing my morning meditation on the beach and listening to the waves. If you're looking for a fun and unforgettable getaway, I highly recommend this hotel. You won't regret it! Oh and the restaurant of the hotel is the best too, will need another review on that.

Obiekt Barrbra BnB Over The Sea to dwupiętrowy dom położony nad brzegiem morza, w miejscowości Bocas del Toro. Na 2. piętrze budynku usytuowane są 4 pokoje. This BnB is the MUST. First of all, it is not in the "touristy" part of the island so you can avoid the noise but it is still close to great restaurants and pubs. The rooms are cosy and clean with a perfect terrace over the sea. But the most important thing is that the guys that run this BnB are the most welcoming persons ever. You do feel like at home here. P.S. do not forget to have the french toast for breakfast from Marco!

Mosana Reef Garden B&B is set in Bluff Beach, 5 km from Bocas Town and 26 km from Buena Vista. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. The breakfast was exceptional and the dinner was out of this world. The deserts had us licking the plate. The proprietor Nadia was most helpful in getting us a taxi, bringing us items from the grocery and wonderful conversations and good laughs.

Jednak dzięki swojej lokalizacji poza centrum można wypocząć i mieć piękne widoki na wodę i słońce. Gospodarze są bardzo mili i pomocni. Jest to idealne miejsce dla każdego kto lubi spokój, naturę i potrafi się cieszyć z życia. Ja czułam się tam jak w domu i chciałabym kiedyś znowu wrócić do Nico i Angie (i Rumby).

Obiekt Sand Dollar Beach Bed & Breakfast usytuowany jest przy rozwidleniu przed dzielnicą Big Creek, 3,2 km od miasta Bocas del Toro. Oferuje on klimatyzowane pokoje. I loved everything about this property, from the distance from downtown to the wonderful hosts and service. I slept to the sound of the waves and woke to birdsong, it was a very convenient and relaxing 4 night stay as a solo traveler. Sharon was very accommodating in all aspects, and I would definitely stay at her place again.

The eco-friendly B&B Dolphin Bay Hideaway features a wooden terrace with hammocks, plus garden and Dolphin Bay views. It is located on Cristobal Island, 20 minutes’ boat trip from Bocas del Toro. Right place for spending fantastic holidays away from the crowds of Bocas del Toro. Nice, colorful clean rooms, view over the bay where you can see dolphins jumping. Brian and Amy are just marvelous hosts that offer very interesting tours (snorkeling, dolphin spotting etc.) at fair prices and excellent food (on a long table with the other guests). It is not only called Dolphin Bay, there are really a lot of those noble creatures, apart from sloths, frogs, humming birds etc. Highly recommendable if you look for sustainable tourism (no plastic, renewable energy and careful usage of water).
