The king room and private balcony are a great size and spotless. We had all the comforts of home and more. Air conditioning and fans work fantastically.

Set in Big Creek, 550 metres from Y Griega and 1.1 km from Istmito, Sol y Sombra offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool. Richard (and his dog Sombra :D ) were super friendly, helped us with everything and gave us great suggestions for tours, restaurants, beaches, … Rooms are very spacious and clean plus one can also get free towels for the pool and beach! Breakfast is a bit expensive but worth the money as there is a great variety and Richard even makes pancakes or eggs.

Lying in the hammock was really relaxing. Birds singing and the murmur of the sea. The owners from Holland are very friendly. Carmen is an excellent cook, at the same time a very nice and helpful hostess. She will be happy to advise you and help organize trips and transfers by water taxi. The joint dinners were a great experience both gastronomic and social.

This BnB is the MUST. First of all, it is not in the "touristy" part of the island so you can avoid the noise but it is still close to great restaurants and pubs. The rooms are cosy and clean with a perfect terrace over the sea. But the most important thing is that the guys that run this BnB are the most welcoming persons ever. You do feel like at home here. P.S. do not forget to have the french toast for breakfast from Marco!

We had a great stay. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful and they cooked up many great breakfasts during our stay. Our room was super comfy and the A/C worked very well. I slept to the sound of the waves and woke to birdsong, it was a very convenient and relaxing 4 night stay as a solo traveler. Sharon was very accommodating in all aspects, and I would definitely stay at her place again.
