Finca la Magia is a jungle hostel on a small organic farm located just outside San Ramon, 40 km from Moyogalpa. Food was amazingly made by Delfa, their nica chef. Who made Vegetarian dishes with farms ingredients and using fire in a typical stove. I totally recommend to have all the meals you can, you’ll love it. We enjoyed a volcano Concepcion tour with a young guide named Josias, who showed us that wonderful landscape. Also the reception helped us to get a scooter for 25usd, a nice way to go around the island. The chef daughter made a surprise birthday cake for my girlfriend, which made us a felt like home. Finca La Magia is the perfect spot for privacy and natural surroundings. No internet coverage but a decent wifi at the restaurant.

The location is beautiful!! Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

Located in Esquipulas in the Ometepe region, La Casa del Artista features accommodation with access to beauty services. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing location on the sunset side of the island with a private beach. Great value for money. Very friendly owners with great communication. They make lovely meals. Room was basic but everything was clean and neat and there is a fan for the warm weather. Would definitely return.

Charmingly decorated property with a lot of greenery. We had a lovely private cabin with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. Lots of friendly animals on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Offering a garden and lake view, Playa Casa Nohelia is situated in Santo Domingo, 200 metres from Santo Domingo Beach and 13 km from Maderas Volcano. The location is amazing, right by the beach & Nohelia was so kind to us! We recommend renting a scooter though :)

Located in Altagracia, 600 metres from Santo Domingo Beach, Beach cabin ometepe provides accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, a garden and a bar. The best part of staying here is that Hector makes you feel like family. He is such a kind man. He's willing to stop what he's doing to help at any time. We felt safe there because he was always either downstairs or nearby. The location is very ideal. It's right off the main road and I liked how it was kind of central to all of the adventures and activities we wanted to do. The Saturday market was also right along that road as well which was cool! It is a great budget friendly place. You have everything you need. Don't expect it to be luxurious but expect to have everything you need here. Plus you get to look out at the lake from your patio! Great coffee spot! There's a couple good restaurants that are walking distance as well as a tiny "pulperia" to get some basic food for the place. If you're wanting to do all of your cooking here just make sure to bring some groceries from the Mainland as your options will be limited.

Set in Altagracia, 46 km from San Juan del Sur, Hostal Rancho Sabor Isleño - Ometepe features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. We had a very nice stay! The town is not so popular with tourists, so if you want to be with the locals this is the best place to be. They will arange a scooter for you. It is a good base to explore the Ometepe Island.. Totally safe and the owners are super nice. Delicious breakfast! 🌋🥰 Thank you!

Located in Altagracia, Hospedaje Bananas provides accommodation with seating area. Great quite location with full of green plantations and close to the beach. The owner is a very kind person and guided me with the things to do and plan my trip. His wife makes really good food and I had breakfast and dinner which was very homely, fresh and yummy. I would stay here again.

Set in Balgue, Lazy Crab Hostel has a garden and a terrace. The property is located 1.5 km from Maderas Volcano. The atmosphere was exceptional. The stuff was great and very helpful. The location is perfect. There are many options for restaurants. No matter where you're on this island, you need a scooter to get to the beach & sightseeing. But Lazy Crab has a good distance to the most attractions. They have a kitchen with room for your own purchase. The breakfast is really good too and they have free coffee for breakfast.
